A congressional document that has been posted on the Internet confirms no one – not Congress, not the states and not election officials – bothered to check Barack Obama's eligibility to be president, and in fact, that status remains undocumented to this day.
It's because state and federal law did not require anyone in Congress or elsewhere to check to see if Obama was a "natural born Citizen" under the meaning of Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution, according the document.
The analysis by the Congressional Research Service, a research arm of the U.S. Congress, openly admits no one in the federal government, including Congress, ever asked to see Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate. In fact, it explains no one was required to do so.
Technically, the CRS is a public policy research arm of the United States Congress that is organized as a legislative branch agency within the Library of Congress; the CRS works exclusively for members of Congress, congressional committees and congressional staff in an advisory capacity, answering questions.

It’s more than non-feasance, it is mal-feasance because there was clearly enough noise over the eligibility issue long BEFORE the election took place. No, feigning ignorance by those who are ciminally liable will not work as a defense for those who now need to go to jail over this.

Not O’Really, he was the one that said he saw barry’s birth certificate. I think he was alluding to Obama beliefs and inner self. I think someone should locate a tape of the O’Reilly verbage and show it , it was stunning!

Not true. According to other documents, Nancy Pelousy and Howard Dean allegedly certified his “eligibility” documents.
Most of us know that they were fraudulent, but Pelousy and Dean certified that they saw his documents.
I’m not defending anyone, particularly zero, Dean or Pelousy, but I’m taking issue with the report. Something’s fishy.
He’s probably CIA. His granddad apparently was. Mom could have been. Just saying, seems like the CIA is one endorsement you must receive before being put on the ballot.
Simple solution, to make sure this never happens again —
Propose an Amendment to the Constitution to update Article III, Section 1. (I’ll leave it to sharper minds to provide the actual verbiage.) The Amendment should (a) define natural born and (b) provide a mechanism for verification, along with (c) a method for appealing a rejection.
It won’t be easy but it will solve the problem, permanently.
Of course I’m the same deluded character who is holding out hope Sean Penn turns out to be an over-sized patriot, fully debriefed from his visits to enemy lands.
Spies wouldn’t be good spies if they couldn’t fool people.
