When I was young and living in Manhattan, I saw an Off-Off-Broadway play called Slave Ship. It was an experience I'll never forget.
Unbeknownst to me, the performance was conducted in total darkness. The audience was subjected for one very long hour to the harrowing sounds of slavery. There were blood-curdling screams, whippings, and more.
Given that we were trapped in pitch blackness, the audience was held captive like the slaves, compelled to experience the same terror, helplessness, and despair. This was undoubtedly the intention of the play.

Who the hell would pay to see that to begin with?
You must not know very many white, privileged, guilt-ridden Manhattanites.
I bet the play was a good way to get a sense of the suffering on a slave ship, in a way that other historical venues are, eg Valley Forge on a -10 day, the Holocaust Museum, etc.
That said, slavery was 150 years ago. Anyone that allows that to enter their conscious and let it affect how they approach the next hour, day or year in how to make their personal life better is wasting their time. It bears no impact, and wishing it so takes one off track.
I was there last week... but I left. I was doing GOTV on the South Side/Telegraph area. I call this neighborhood The Epicenter of Stupid. They re-elected their useless "Progressive" representatives, which confirmed my opinion.

I think Bambi's only real "policy" is the above: crushing us so he can exact his revenge on a world his disturbed mind sees as having treated him unfairly.
Other people may be the ones actually working out the way for him to do this, primarily by putting into practice their own nutty economic or political theories. But his only real policy is to destroy us, and as long as he senses that we're moving in that direction, he's getting what he wants.
I know people who actually engage in freeing women from slave masters throughout the Washington DC area (mostly citizens of the Philippines or Indonesia brought here as unpaid house servants).
