“She reminds me of the characters from Being There and A Face In The Crowd most of all.”
Sarah Palin reminds me of Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan.
Now that she’s got the Wall Street Journal editorial page behind her is anyone going to be so moronic as to suggest she is dumb?
So Charles Babbington is a Palin supporter? If you listen the left will let you know who they fear. That is why Palin is in the news a lot.
When this “Stop Palin” crap started early this morning, it angered me. Now, this garbage just makes me laugh.
These desperate loons are completely wasting their time.
Huckaliar and Romney, even with his Peter Pan outfit, wouldn’t have a chance against Palin.......... and Palin will eat Obama alive, just like she already is.
Palin 2012, period.
The adults don’t put on little cheerleader outfits and dawn pom-poms to get their point across.
Actually it’s not, but thanks.
Seems like another of the well-orchestrated Romney-Rove-MSM attacks.
I say give Sarah a chance and see where the chips fall. If she loses than she loses. But she may win. Why not allow her to take a go at running. We have nothing to lose and more to gain. If she loses to Obama than we have status quo for four more years and if she wins, we will have a prosperous four years and wonderful time. It is worth the gamble on Palin IMHO.
Just to be sure... you’re going to vote for Palin, right?
Then why all the stories about her? I am not sure she will run but the establishment media appears to be quite concerned that she will. Do you think she is paying folks like Babbington to write about her?
Can you put me on your “Today’s Hit Piece on Sarah Palin” ping list?
Folks, the primaries are about 14 months away. I don’t know who the candidates will be. Palin hasn’t even declared she is running, and you’re asking a question I have no way of answering right now.
The very question exposes a real problem. Any answer other than yes, even now is supposed to mean something dire.
We not only can’t see the whites of their eyes, we can only see ambers waves of grain as far as the eyes can see. And yet, I’m supposed to pull the trigger now.
Point to where I did that or admit you are what you are, oh poughty one.
The Left openly tells us who they fear, Palin, and who they favor, Mitt Huckabee.Yup. They want a repeat of their 2008 triumph, when they stuck us with a big-L Loser... with a big assist from ourselves, of course.
Would you state that Sarah has been staying home and not trying to stay front and center all the time?
I wouldn’t. So I’m kind of perplexed why you think I’m being unfair to her.
I don’t expect her to go into hiding or anything like that. I just get tired of seeing her name here and in the media constantly, and I’ve expressed an opinion about it.
There are other people out there who may run. I think it would be more productive if we give each of them as much attention and see how it all shakes out.
I do not agree with the media that Palin is too polarizing. I don’t agree that she is a detriment to the party. I just think it would be wiser for the time being to discuss a variety of candidates and see what shakes out next year.
“She reminds me of the characters from
‘Being There’...”
Wasn’t that guy a retard?
The media is playing reverse psychology.
Adults don’t try to make more noise than anyone else to drown out their reasoned comments. If you’ll look at what you were trying to do, you’ll see reason in what I said.
You’re the one trying to start the bickering around here. No one else is.
I didn’t say “Palin or else”... and I don’t see anyone else saying that.
I like Palin. I like DeMint. I like Pence. There might even be a couple of others. Bachmann, for one.
But Palin has to be seen by conservatives as a very important person on the political scene right now and it’s very, very interesting that out there in leftist land she is attacked daily and here in FR there’s always somebody like you who wants to attack what YOU see as the fanaticism of people who happen to like her and see her for what she already is: a great leader.
DoughtyOne, it was not my intent to put you into a corner. I know you well enough to know that you will think things through and land on what you believe is right, and you will do it in your time.
It’s always been clear to me that you’re one of the good guys, even when I don’t agree with something you’ve said.
I was laughing when I typed that question, but I will tell you... unless something very extreme changes, I plan to vote for Palin, if she runs and I think she’s going to run.
Now smile dammit....
I just get tired of seeing her name here and in the media constantly, and Ive expressed an opinion about it.Well that's a darn crying shame that we're all making you so freaking weary and all talking about things that bore you to tears.
From now on, we should all run everything by DoughtyOne to make sure what we're talking about meets with her approval.
(Are you a retired 6th grade English teacher? Is your name Miss Schultz?)
