It’s the “e” in Google. Bad placement of the flag, maybe even purposeful, but at least there IS a flag.

I KNOW I KNOW, ITS SATAN’S TAIL!!!!
Yes, His tail popping out from under the flag.
What looks like the sun is actually him appearing as an angel of light.
Hidden message is America is the great satan!
AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!

“I bet every time you see a rainbow you’re pissed that Nature is promoting homosexuality... (roll eyes...)”

Good one.

As for me I always thought this website had a spacing error, and it was telling us to “Go ogle”

Sigh. If the DUmmies have a thread called “FReeper Follies,” I have a feeling this post would be on it.

I never had to be told.

Knowing Google and the games they play on days like this, I’d say it’s intentional. They easily could have placed the flag high enough to not make the “e” look like a red crescent.

Relax...It’s just a poor design, and could have been done better...

“That’s not the sun. It’s an explosion combined with the crescent of Islam.”

You are correct, Marylander.

In Jackson Mississippi a judicial candidate Ali Shamsideen tried to stealth his campaign posters with “ShamsiDeen”, and the imagery at first glance looked like a shooting star, but on closer inspection was the tip of a crescent impaling a star.

Just more of the shoot-the-bird-while-scratching-the-nose and just-brushing-my-shoulders level of leftist symbolism.

The red thing is the remainder of the E in the name “GOOGLE” with the flag representing the L in the name..

Now I don’t recall the E tailing off like that generally, so maybe its some covert thing.. but likely just a styling decition so the E didn’t loop back up into the flag.

“I think the flag is supposed to be the “l” and the “e” is behind the flag.”

It clearly shows a missile launch with the missile destroying the American flag. Everyone who thinks it’s merely a contrail from a jet is crazy and buying into the google cover up.

Personally, I like it. I read something profound into it — not anything sinister. Frankly, it’s more of a tribute than I expected out of Google.

I don’t think that’s an Islamic crescent — but even if you do, the message might be “Thanks to veterans, the American flag eclipses and transcends Islamic terrorism.”

Anyway, that’s my 2c on the subject.

FRegards

I can see Groucho Marx’s head in the shape of the cloud and sky portion.

Yep, just like Google to try to inject Marx into Veteran’s Day.

Spit coffee all over my monitor over that one. Yeah, that will be the day. This is g00gle we're talking about. They are in bed with this administration.

Given Gargoyle’s penchant for posting deliberately provocative imagery I wouldn’t be at all surprised that they put up that one knowing that it would set some folks off.

My outrage meter has gotten heavy usage and it needs a greater jolt to make it move.

Well, there’s what the artist intended — and there’s what the viewer takes away.

God bless our veterans and what they have done for all of us.

That’s what I choose to see and believe this hallowed day, regardless of the artist’s intent. YMMV

It has a little red crescent peaking out from behind an American flag.

That's not a red crescent, it's a replica of the penis of the sperm whale. I saw it on Nat Geo. With every thing that goes on in the world, sometimes I think the left is right and black is white. S/OFF

It’s not a crescent - it’s the bottom tail of the “e” - last letter of “Google.”

I’m no Google fan, but this is tinfoil hat stuff.
