WASHINGTON (AP) -- General Motors is recalling nearly 14,000 sedans to address potential problems with power steering. And Chrysler is recalling about 16,000 Jeep Liberty SUVs to fix faulty windshield wiper systems.

GM's recall involves certain 2010 and 2011 model year Cadillac DTS and Buick Lucerne sedans with V8 engines.
An alternator cable could wear through a power steering line, leading to a fluid leak that could cause a loss of power steering and lead to a crash.

” for power steering problems) “
They keep driving ‘into the ditch’????
What is wrong with the steering—they pull to the left?
“ for power steering problems)

-LOL.
Obama was also apparently upset that the new models didn’t have enough Slurpee holders installed...
Other than that, it's been a great car.
Where is the “Their cars are unsafe” news?
They only turn left.
Aren’t these the same cars that were being built by the crew that was out getting drunk & stoned @ lunch...
Right?
Hey!
Right?
(never mind...hallucinations - too much coffee)
” Where is the Their cars are unsafe news? “
The cars are safe - it’s the Corporate Ownership (gummint and unions) that’s dangerous....
These are built I’m Mexico. That’s right they took 6 billion dollars of our taxes and built 2 new Jeep plants in mexco. I will never buy a car made in mexco.
“Arent these the same cars that were being built by the crew that was out getting drunk & stoned @ lunch...”
Not sure who produced which exact cars, but yeah, they were Chyrsler workers.
Toyota made a safe car also. They got the news.
It’s that legendary attention to detail at GM.
My 2002 Bonneville had the intermediate steering shaft replaced 3 times in 10k miles, (from 22k to 32k).
That Bonneville is the reason I’m now driving a 2008 Acura TL. The TL is the car the Bonneville should have been. The cars are aimed at the same demographic, and they both have a similar feel. That’s where the similarity ends.
BTW, if anyone is going to whine about foreign cars, my Acura was made in Marysville, Ohio.
