Doug Richardson, Jane’s Military Magazine Missile Expert Tells You the Truth: Ballistic Missile, No Doubt

I have posted 4 photos for everyone to look at - this sure looks like one of the many missile launchings that I have seen, and Janes's Missile Magazine editor says the same, and he should certainly know. The smoke seen coming from the base of the object as well as the curled exhaust give it away and make it unmistakeable.

My question to everyone - look at the one photo seen here, of it rising from over the horizon, then in two minutes going straight up and spewing out a smoke exhaust plume, NOT a contrail, and then disappearing from sight into the sky, heading up and north by north west--- NOT arriving at LAX.

Happens every day??? Then why was it not seen and taped before, every day? I live right there and it does NOT happen every day. I do not believe our government about this, they are hiding what it clearly and obviously is, a missile launch.

Airplane. Nothing to see here. Please keep moving. No photography, please. Please keep moving. Nothing to see. Move along. Please step to the back of the cattle car to make room for others.

It's a contrail.

A vertical contrail. Planes fly straight upwards, right?

Russians playing with Buvala missiles.... If this was the case, those things have more capability than we thought. And it means that the Russians got those things working. I expect the December test of the system to “Fail” as not to spook the West.

Calm down. It’s not a danger. We have no idea where it went nor what it was. Call it a UFO.

You must have quite an imagination if you can see all that in this one photo.

I’m hoping someone can get an unedited copy of the tape and attempt a time/motion analysis to figure the speed that object is traveling, and how fast it may (or may not) be accelerating. I’d also like to see some altitude calculations based on the cloud formations the object appears to be moving past and through.

The tape I’ve seen is chopped and only a couple of seconds long.

“A vertical contrail. Planes fly straight upwards, right?”

Especially commercial airliners. It makes the take off more exciting for the passengers.

Swamp gas. Whatever that was - it put out a LOT of propellant to leave a trail like that. Especially when viewed so many miles away.

It was not a smaller missile like a Star Wars interceptor test. This was an an ICBM.

It is not a plane or contrail. It looks like a sub launched ICBM.

Thats an awful lot of contrail for an aircraft. I see jets in the air all day where I work and none of the contrails look like that. It looks more like a a trail like the ones we see when vandenberg lights one off.

Everyone with at least two synapses left to rub together knows that this is a missile and not an aircraft. The “authorities” know this but they also know that there are a nation out there loaded with people who are either incapable of thinking or who simply refuse to do so. The only way that they would care about this is if there were a glowing ball of fire in the sky and destruction everywhere. We’re never going to know the truth about this.

Do people not thing we have RADAR that operates less than 30 miles from one of the busiest airports in the US?

Of course it’s not a plane. We’re being given the answer that is in the official PR manual for situations like this.

"My question to everyone - look at the one photo seen here, of it rising from over the horizon..."

I disagree. I can't make that conclusion because the horizon is obscured.

Not saying you’re wrong, but that’s why they call them ‘optical illusions’. We are often most easily deceived by what we see, not to mention what we hear.

My remarks were an amalgam of what I read about the video (2 minutes of active smoke, 6 more of lingering smoke) and the Jane’s expert’s remarks (unmistakably a missile) and what I can see with my own two lying eyes...

South Korea rules out navy ship sunk by North Korea

South Korea on Saturday all but ruled out the chance that North Korea was involved in the sinking of one of its navy vessels near their disputed border.
Initial speculation that North Korea might have sunk the ship had spooked Wall Street on Friday. Share prices dipped partly on geopolitical concerns, and the won dropped against the dollar.

“correction” was slow to come.
