Fox News ^ | 12 November 2010 | Stephen Yates and Christian Whiton

Posted on 11/12/2010 9:27:26 AM PST by AmericanInTokyo

The most conceited White House in memory thinks it is making history in Asia. Instead, President Obama is completing his longest foreign trip with no real accomplishments to show for himself—and a reinforced image as a weak leader in over his head...

Love the paraphrased Churchill quote at the end...

An empty plane arrived in Asia and when the door opened Obama got out...

I do not think this guy has ever spent 7 consecutive days actually in the White since he was elected.

He is perpetually travelling and making speeches, but I don’t really have an example of him actually doing his job. All I see is that he is constantly ‘running away’ from his office, from his job, from his responsibilities, and likely most of all, from Michelle.

He is constantly on the run and we are paying for it.

Hey Obama! I double dog dare you to go 2 days in a row without making a televised speech.

I don’t he can possibly do it.

I thought everyone knew that every agreement ever reached at every summit conference had been worked out by staff members well before the heads of state ever convened. To show up with an agenda to introduce and sell is to betray to everyone a total lack of management skills or a basic understanding of how agreements are reached. Obama’s community organizer confrontational approach has guaranteed this G20 failure and made him look like the fool he truly is. The cat is out of the bag.

I can almost hear a new libretto to the familiar tune of “Pants on the Ground”, something that should soon become the Obama theme song, chanted derisively where and whenever he appears.

Great article. “AmericanInTokyo’’ nails it in describing the soul of the Leftist/liberal elitists when he calls them ‘’charlatans and amateurishness’’. This is the reason why Obama and his crowd keep screwing up protocol, not understanding American history, matters of civility and decorum because they’ve been taught to hate all of that.

‘’...that he is hauled away in a straight jacket.’’ He’d better be. We can’t go on another two years like this. We’ll have no country left and if America goes down the rest of the world will erupt into chaos.

Hehehehehe, so Barry thinks these heads of state are to stupid to understand what he is trying to achieve. I guess he did not lower his message to their level so that they would understand. This is like his message about selling us his health care plan. We are to stupid to understand.

That’s because Obama and his admin hasn’t learned a thing from the debacle (Chicago’s Olympics bid).

Somehow Obama still thinks his presence alone will/could achieve the goal is just as scary as his incompetence/way over his head, if not more so.

Excellent point!

Also, the $200 million per day expenditure for Obama’s Asian trip only serves to draw attention to its stunning and total failure. Pretty much like the stimulus bill and everything else he turns his hand to.

I'd like to have a look at his school, college, and law school transcripts ..... and all those golf scores.

What really irks me is that the Bush administration did negotiate a free trade agreement with South Korea that was ready to go. However after Obama was elected he decided to reopen it to placate the labor unions. Essentially we have been denied the jobs that free trade agreement would have produced for the past 2 years. Same with free trade agreements negotiated by Bush with Columbia and Panama which the Dems have been holding up to placate the labor unions here.

***But he will fail fashionably!***

Maybe after his presidency he can go on “Who wants to be America's next top model” and give clues on:

How to look cool under pressure.

How to appear as if you know something without actually knowing anything.

Walking with that presidential sort of swagger. Might work well on a runway!

How to run up and down stairs on airplanes and look young and vibrant.

A special class on rhetoric and his best collection of fallacies. Tips on how to say things that appeal to everyone and actually say nothing. Great if your at a Ms. America Contest!

How to use the “race card” without being really obvious or obnoxious about it.

Talking to journalists that crawl into your rear and asks questions about what your most “enchanting moment” has been in the first 100 days while everything around you is falling apart.

How to talk with a smile.

How to run in the water and flex your abs.

Yes, he will even be able to tell us some lessons about how to conduct fierce combat with the enemy, such as Chavez when he pointed his finger at him and touched his chest in a “debate!”

He can teach us how to bow! In the future that might come in handy.

Yes, there are many things we will be able to learn from this marvelous President once he retires. I'm sure, such a well rounded, selfless, discrete, consummate professional will dispense a lot of advice later on down the road. We can expect him to be like Reagan, Bush H, Bush W. when it comes to is post President years, I'm sure.

Funny thing about that run is my friend, who is a life long Jewish and liberal voter until zer0 came along, swears he is gay because of the way he uses his arms running down the steps of AF1

What do you mean fail?

The $200million a day he spent make the $150million he gave to the Palestinians seem like nothing.

contempt and their uncanny Asian savvy/radar in picking up Obama's absolute undeniable WEAKNESS as a leader.

With all due respect, it doesn't require any uncanny savvy to pick up this buffoon's weakness as a leader. But I am sure you are right, only Asian courtesy and discretion prevents total public humiliation.
