Gateway Pundit ^ | 11/13/10 | Jim Hoft

This didn’t make any headlines… The Obama Administration recently handed out 111 Obamacare waivers to special US companies… And, they’re hiding this from the American public. It takes 6 clicks to find out this information on the government’s health care website.

Unfortunately, if you’re a small business or you don’t have the right connections you can’t get a waiver for your company. That’s the new reality under the Obama-Pelosi regime.

Unbelievable. Via Cost of Freedom:

ANd yet the biggest exemption is for the members of the House, Senate and administration themselves. These arrogant, dictatorial, bungholes need to be tarred and feathered and deported.

Number 55 on the list of those exempt is labor union SEIU Local 25 of Chicago, Illinois.

If we can trace the money there are probably some impeachable offenses from this list.

Repeal. We will accept nothing less. My healthcare insurance premiums doubled for next year.

Won’t all these waivers make Obamacare a bill of attainder?

We need to boycott the government for even doing this. Companies will take what the government gives them. Start at the top and don’t mess around at the bottom. It’s time for massive changes at the top. Do that and you won’t have to worry about companies or unions. Union members have to get involved also. They need to turn against their leadership for helping to destroy this country.

Approved Applications for Waiver of the Annual Limits Requirements of the PHS Act Section 2711 as of November 1, 2010

*All Applicants Listed have had 1 or more plans/policies approved

Applications for waivers from annual limit requirements are reviewed on a case by case basis by Department officials who look at a series of factors including whether or not a premium increase is large or if a significant number of enrollees would lose access to their current plan because the coverage would not be offered in the absence of a waiver. More detailed information on specific criteria can be found at: http://www.hhs.gov/ociio/regulations/11-05-2010annual_limits_waiver_bulletin.pdf. Approved applicants are granted an annual limit waiver for one year. The Office of Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight’s sub-regulatory guidance on the process for obtaining waivers of the annual limits requirements may be found at: http://www.hhs.gov/ociio/regulations/patient/ociio_2010-1_20100903_508.pdf

Wonder if/when someone is going to take that list and cross-reference it against political donations/activities by organizational leaders and PACs.

The large population of unions on that list certainly presents the appearance of special treatment/favors.

Interesting that Cracker Barrel is on that list. I just checked Open Secrets and their PAC gives 95% of Federal candidate donations to Republicans, 5% to Democrats.

Wonder if they’re the token on the list to dispel the appearance of favoritism?

My best guess is a Maverick County TX employee. This is a borderlands county which includes the town of Eagle Pass, across from Piedras Negras Mexico,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maverick_County,_Texas

Always Democrats in power there, Eagle Pass is a gateway for drug and human smuggling into the US. Zetas are taking over the gateway, per this article you can see that there is a war raging across the river and our goobermit is ignoring it. Caution photos are rather graphic on this link from 6 months ago shoot-out in Piedras Negras. These particular narcotraficantes failed to pay off the Mexican army the way they are supposed to.

Things are not good in Maverick County either.

Actually the war is raging on both sides of the Rio Grande and DHS just pretends it is not there.
