One of the guys who writes Jon Stewart's lines is in this video, where he says that between Tim Tebow and Osama Bin Laden, he'd shoot Tebow first. If he had two bullets, that is. If he just had one, he'd shoot Tebow.
Who is this John Oliver? Is he some hack from Media Matters, sucking up the Soros money? Has the common kind of name that's hard to google. Is he one of the elegant Ivy League guys at Comedy Central who are so cool and admirable?
Would like to know more about this vanguard of good taste and civility.
Obviously it'd be easier for someone on the Daily Show to shoot a Christian in cold blood than to say something funny about Mohammed. What a gutless sack of rancid meat...

Who cares who he is? It is obvious that his hate is spiritually driven....though he, himself, may be totally unaware of that.

Actually, that's not what he said. He said if he had one bullet, he'd shoot Osama, as he's not a monster.
His primary criticism is that Tebow thanked God after the game rather than his offensive line, which is a somewhat legitimate if over the top criticism.
I'm not sure why he picks on Tebow, as a great many athletes have made similar remarks over the years without much criticism I remember.
Tim Tebow played for the Florida Gaters and was drafted by the Broncos. He’s very open about his faith in Christ, so people who hate Christ will probably not like Tim either.
He’s now a quarterback with the Denver Broncos.

John Oliver writes the garbage that Jon Stewart pours directly into the pathetic brains of twenty-somethings, who then go like voting zombies to the booths. I truly do no think Obama could have won without the Daily Show. So—I’d like to know a lot more about him. He could be part of the food chain around Media Matters.

He’s probably pro-Pali and an Israel-hater, but so are a lot of liberal Jews. What we do know for certain is that he wouldn’t dare say anything like this about a Muslim. Jon Stewart is a coward, so it’s likely all those who work for him are likewise without manhood or courage.
