Body Scanner Controversy Making Bang Within the Corporate Media

Napolitano asks fliers for ‘patience’ on body scanners

The nation’s Homeland Security chief asked for air travelers’ “cooperation” and “patience” with full-body scanning and pat downs this holiday season amid a growing public backlash that the airport tactics are intrusive.

“Each and every one of the security measures we implement serves an important goal,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano writes in a column for today’s USA TODAY, which asks the public to be a partner in defending against terrorism.

Will the Dept. of Homeland Security drop the hammer on the unhappy U.S. population and go against the people’s wishes? Will we see some sort of fake terror attack to push these clearly unpopular naked body scanners?

BO & Big Sis must be shocked that MSM is now covering the Naked Body Scan Controversy.

Look who owns the company that makes the scanners - a major investor is our last DHS leader (old skull head) and the conglomerate that owns them... Soros.

Always follow the money.

“Each and every one of the security measures we implement serves an important goal,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The "important goal" is to make human livestock completely desensitized to egregious violations of privacy, and more accommodating of each and every government intrusion. Period.

This charade has not one damn thing to do with airline security ... it is about the security of government and insider investors like Chertoff and Soros.

You know it is coming, a Reichstag Fire type incident to show the heroism and rightness of Nazi policy, to defame critics and enact even harsher measures. The idiots will lap it up. Watch for a suppository bomb sometime soon.

When do saved scans of young teenage girls qualify as child porn?

Also, when do you think someone will take a geiger counter and measure the radiation coming off these machines?

Yes, true, And this started with government imposing the government schools on the American people.

Face it people, the problem, is all these laws. 99% of laws Congress has passed are socialism, unconstitutional AND damage freedom and the economy.

The solution is to have a Constitutional amendment that will

1. Make ALL laws expire after 3 years. The problem is once these socialist laws are passed then they are forever, forever mandating increasing spending, increasing government growth, increasing government control etc.

This way only a few laws (programs) which are what people really want will be kept going.

And this must apply to all laws passed since the constitution was ratified. So all previous laws passed will be given 3 years to expire.

2. Documentation on each law about to be voted on must be mailed out to each American.

I like birds. I have a property that has lots of them. So many that the previous owner had the property registered as a bird sanctuary by the state. Must have been some kind of weird liberal I guess to do that.

I like feeding the birds and put bird seed out at times. I noticed that some of the seed gets eaten fast and also ends up on the ground. I started paying closer attention and found out that it was the squirrels eating the bird seed. Over and over the squirrels kept stealing the seed. I have rats, armadillos, skunks, snakes, rabbits and various other critters on the property. Only the squirrels steal the bird seed. Every time it is a squirrel.

By the governments way of thinking I need to harass all the critters on the property along with the squirrels so I can stop the bird seed theft. That makes no common sense.

All this so-called security BS in the airports is silly. So far the only people blowing up things and killing people are moslems. Not nuns, children, grandma or some software engineer who does not want "his junk" touched. It is moslems. Period. We should either profile the non-moslems or profile the moslems. Or both. We need to sensibly address the problem and then try to fix it. What we are doing now is absurd. You cannot fix the "squirrel" problem unless you focus on the squirrels.

Don’t worry: The radiation exposure cancer you get will be covered by ObamaCare.

Not.

I suspect that there will be dry runs by BO’s Terrorist Pals during Thanksgiving. Then, BO’s Terrorist Pals will launch there attacks during the Christmas Holidays. While everyone is distracted by Full Body Scans and Pat Downs of innocent travelers, BO’s Terrorist Pals exempted from Pat Downs because of muslim clothing will be waved right abroad planes with their hidden explosives. BO and Big Sis will probably blame the explosions on toner cartridges from Yemen.

Kim | November 17, 2010 at 11:26 am | Did you know that the nation’s airports are not required to have Transportation Security Administration screeners checking passengers at security checkpoints? The 2001 law creating the TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a two-year period. Now, with the TSA engulfed in controversy and hated by millions of weary and sometimes humiliated travelers, Rep. John Mica, the Republican who will soon be chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, is reminding airports that they have a choice.

My read on this is - conditioning the populace to COMPLY with orders from government agents, regardless of constitutional rights. Testing the waters.

“Each and every one of the security measures we implement serves an important goal,”

It's not the goal that most people assume. There are cheaper, less intrusive, and more effective ways to keep Muslim terrorists from killing people. The government actually interferes with effective measures, such as arming pilots.

The real goal is to get the American population to accept much greater government control over their movements. These kinds of intrusive security measures are also being added to trains and cruise ships. There is a group in Oregon that has been pushing for installing GPS tracking systems in all cars.

The socialists have figured out how to prevent the collapse of social security: irradiate business fliers frequently so they die young. Business fliers mostly vote Republican anyway. The TSA monster has a vast store of blackmail material and coercion techniques to insure ever increasing funding.
