An chemical/bioengineering agribusiness dictating food policy.

What a great idea.

I actually feel some common cause here with some of the far-lefties who have been screaming about Monsanto for years.

Did you notice how they rushed this terrible bill to the floor in secret ___ ? Now government has taken over all food in the US.

It will be illegal to grow your own gardens or give veggies to friends. All organic food will be outlawed. Vitamins will also be illegal.

Food supplements of all types will be outlawed. Hundreds of thousands of Americans will be put out of work by this terrible law. And Monsanto's key man will be appointed by Obama to become the Food Safety Czar (ie rewarding open bribery of Congress Critters via campaign donations !)

And I have been posting warnings about this terrible bill since 2006. Really kicked up my efforts in 2009. But nobody would listen. Nobody cares. Kind of shows me how deeply freepers really give a sh!t about anything . . . NOT !

Trying to warn the people was a total waste of my time. Alors quoi de neuf? . . . Now I have other fish to fry and must get very busy with many new projects . . .

The food freedom revolution doesn’t fall neatly into Liberal/Conservative. It falls more along consumer safely versus liberty. Of course, the government often uses the former to simply increase its power and control. That is what this bill does.

This is a really, really bad bill and I hope it goes down.

It would be nice if it could be published complete as amended without all the [<struck out] notations but maybe it’s done just to make it difficult for any one without a staff to understand.
I didn’t find anything that requires my cat to be bio-chipped (she wouldn’t like it) or affect my friend’s garden – she doesn’t sell anything. It would create a huge and expensive new bureaucracy.

Could some one highlight where in the bill it restricts home gardens?

Thanks.

FWIW, I e-mailed Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) on this. I mentioned that this would shut down some co-ops, farmers markets, and restaurants, and these establishments were mentioned by name, since these are establishments she has made appearances and some possibly frequents. No, not stalking, underlining the local impact this folly will have. This bill is not only food supply control, it is the continued war against small business. There are liberal constituents (crunchy ganola variety, not the limousine liberals from Edina) here in Minnesota who are also against this bill. This should be made a We the People issue.

PLEASE help me make this video go viral!

It deals with a Canadian Farmer’s fight with Monsanto.

S. 510 is so incredibly dangerous because our Senators are lying that it won’t effect the home gardener. I know that the BIG PICTURE is to have Big Agri Business ultimately own all of our food supply through the use of their Patented “Terminator” Seeds

Please, please watch this Documentary film and share it everywhere! Thanks so very much!

GMO's are made by manipulation of extremely deadly viruses & bacteria (such as E. coli) that have been engineered to be IMMUNE TO ANTIBIOTICS (Pause video at 8:08). Monsanto spends millions of dollars each year in order to "sugar" coat the facts of what GMO's actually are and more importantly, how they are made.This video straight-forwardly explains the scientific facts on how Monsanto manufactures their GMO's (Genetically Modified Organisms) by simply removing all the corporate propaganda, the "smoke & mirrors" if you will.

Monsanto's greed, combined with their quest to monopolize all aspects of food & seed on the planet, has knowingly allowed the proverbial Reaper free upon the world.

GMO's are now acting much like the deadly virus and pre-cancer type cells they are made from... by infecting other organisms that were once pure and healthy.

We as a people should be demanding Monsanto be held for crimes against humanity for the atrocities they have committed and what can be reasonably seen as the start of the end to all life as we know it.

Snippets:

Despite the voice of controlled opposition trying to convince the American public that the Tester Amendment will solve all the problems with S 510, many food freedom agtivists recognize this is a red herring. One letter to the editor was titled, “Pry my turnip from my cold, dead hand.” The highly-touted exemption diverts attention away from the many, serious problems with S 510, like:

► It does not address the real causes of food safety issues stemming from the centralized, industrialized food supply chain;

► It ensures that international trade agreements have supremacy over local laws;

► It destroys States’ rights to define a culturally-appropriate legal platform under which food is produced and distributed;

► It transfers authority over food regulation enforcement from the FDA to the Department of Homeland Security, which brought us the liberty-killing, child-molesting TSA, which disastrously handled the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, which has genocidally turned its eyes away from the ongoing BP disaster in the Gulf of Mexico;

► It extends a failed and destructive HACCP to all food, thus threatening to do to local food production and farming what HACCP did to meat production – it eliminated small and medium-sized meat packers; and

► It significantly increases FDA’s power, an agency which has stated on public record that the American people have no “fundamental right to their own bodily and physical health” and “do not have a fundamental right to obtain any food they wish.”

Would you trust your diamonds to someone who believes you don’t have a right to them? Clearly, the FDA, and S 510 in particular, is part and parcel of the totalitarian police state being implemented under the plan known as Full Spectrum Dominance.

Finally, we cannot ignore that Monsanto is behind the food “safety” legislation being foisted on us.

We cannot ignore that the US Secretary of Agriculture was once dubbed “Biotech Governor of the Year.”

We cannot ignore that President Obama has appointed a GMO and pesticide pusher as the US Agricultural Trade Representative.

We cannot ignore that he nominated Monsanto-defender Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court, who sits there now with former Monsanto attorney, Clarence Thomas.
