You read my mind. In addition I stumbled upon a large group of vehicles yesterday morning in Wasilla. All of them were unmarked large panel vans with some pulling unmarked trailers. Some had elaborate satellite mechanisms on top. Must have been about a dozen in all. What makes it really strange they were In a Church parking lot and no one had asked for permission to use it. They all carried US government license plates. One man came out and said they were staging for an exercise and were part of the Alaska guard. He was not wearing any uniform I am familiar with. Seemed pretty odd to me that a government exercise would be using a secluded church parking lot to stage an operation of this sort. This suggested the church had been chosen in advance by someone who had thought this out. Now an F 22 goes down without any explanation a week after missiles are spotted off our west coast. My antenna’ s are up and we are getting nervous.

Oh great. No pilot, so they’ve deployed search teams. Only that there may be no pilot, just a broken arrow.

Is it at all possible to verify a pilot missing, or existing at all? Any identification yet?

Plenty of contrails by now, I wager. All of them brown and in various administration/military shorts. They may even be observable from space.

Possibly G-Induced loss of consciousness or Spacial Disorientation. We lost F-15s to both of these. Maybe the oxygen system failed and the pilot passed out. There are a lot of pilot-related problems that could cause something like this.

Good thoughts for the pilot.

I doubt we will hear the real truth here, I hate to say it but I feel the F-22 software could be very vulnerable.

In that part of the state you fly below 10,000 feet you will run into something, well actually its twice that with Denali very close by at 20,000’.

I pray to god the pilot had extra gear with him to at the least make a snow cave, to make a fire and to keep warm. Lots of crevasses up there around Denali.

That link opens up a whole another can of worms. Is that article posted here? Should be an interesting discussion.

One other nagging question. How often do Raptor's, or any fighters, go on a training mission alone. A month ago I was hunting four miles from NAS Fallon. NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING left alone. Every launch all day and night had a wingman.

Funny thing about that missile, some say it was a Chinese missile, we fired a Pac II at it, our missile missed, the Chinese missile changed course.

That is the latest rants over at Abovetopsecret.com

A connection between the two? Thats pretty weird indeed. The F-22 was on an exercise, the pair separated, for whatever reason it went down, so where is the pilot? The only thing I can think of is possibly an ejection seat failure and it may be buried deep in snow, or it fell through ice at high velocity.

I have been following that thread over at ATS. The guy makes some great points about the attempted shoot down. If there is an F-22 pilot and he is alive the PJ's would of been all over it. They live for that stuff.

I hate to be morbid but its a fact there are still bodies of climbers that have not been located trying to climb Denali.

I don’t go up to Cantwell very often but I have been through there twice, its verry rugged terrain, almost no civilization and basically just the Parks highway from Anchorage to Fairbanks.

At least its not Arctic cold up there, maybe just below zero. The weather has been good though.

"Last night a 'two-ship' of F-22s, Rocky one and Rocky three, were finished with training ... about 100 miles north of here," McMullen said.

Everything was normal until about 7:40 p.m., McMullen said, when Rocky three fell off the radar scope and the pilot lost communications.

"The other pilot (Rocky one) went to a tanker, got gas and then continued to look for the mishap pilot," McMullen continued. "He could not find him. At that time, the Alaska Air National Guard scrambled a C-130 and rescue helicopters. They searched the entire night."

It would be interesting to know what kind of training they were doing, and why they were low on fuel so close to base.

So where is the C-5M tooling stored.....China? And the F-22 tooling....enquiring minds seek answers....

They have a lot of hangers there. Many are used for storing old stuff. The C-5M tooling was for an upgrade that was activly being done. Look, just take my word for it that the tooling is safe. I use to work in that same hanger.

Didn’t get any pictures but there were a couple of us from the church there. To make it even more interesting I was at a meeting last night at the church and these guys were pulling back in, using the parking lot again as a staging area. The same guy came over and pretty much repeated his story. Again no one else was visible, they were sitting in their truck (17 degrees) and I saw no other uniforms. Just seems odd that they were going up Cantwell way Tuesday morning before the crash and returning last night afterwards. Could be exercise as he explained but too many weird things happening lately. Other thing that bothers me is that a government operation is using private property without asking for permission or even informing us what they were up to before hand. For those of you familiar with the valley our church in on Bogard Rd which is a few miles away from the highway. Sort of odd that they didn’t want to assemble somewhere on the highway but chose a remote spot in a secluded area. Maybe I’ve been reading too much Vince Flynn

Yes, it would. Usually fighter pilots like lots of fuel in the tanks.
