Another Dinosaur Media Death Watch. The infamous tabloid that broke the John Edwards affair is broke.

Per WSJ, the publisher listed debts of between $500 million and $1 billion. The parent company listed assets of less than $50,000, but its operations subsidiary pegged its assets at between $100 million and $500 million.

I may be the only one here on FR that will be sad to see printed magazines go. I love to read them in bed before going to sleep and at the doctors office. And who wants to take a laptop to read into the john with them?

They beat up the wrong party.

If they had scooped the bathroom sex scandal on Republican Senator Larry Craig, they would have qualified for a federal bailout.

There are far better magazines to read than rags such as Time, Newsweek, People, National Enquirer, etc.

Let them all go down in to the dump where they belong.

That’s too bad. I guess I’ll look for something else to line bird cages with.

I dumped NatGeo way back in the early eighties when they turned into shills for Al Gore and Global Warming.

Did I say “shills”? They practically gave old Al regular oral favors.

For what it’s worth I believe the National Enquirer is a notch over the

I suspect you live in one of Moochelle's food deserts. Other than dark chocolate coconut/pretzel M&Ms, what other gastronomic item is unobtainable in the grocery store?
