Probably. If it’s the one not far fromt he Manhattan Chess Club, which I’ve visited. The park chess tables area used to be a fast paced speed chess haven. Lots of egos bursting forth.
I concede your point. I have heard about this sorry NAMBLA organization and its focus on man boy love laws.
But I was focusing on this specific park incident, and I just cannot believe that pedophiles organize and prey together in groups at parks or anywhere.
I just don’t understand jumping all over these middle age chess players and assuming the worst. The authorities knew they were there, had been given tacit permission, parents let them teach their kids chess, etc.
No one is going to convince me that this chess group was just trying to get closer to kids. Not as a group anyway. I can’t speak for individuals.
