Obama must have got a big donation from the Mexican Cartels.

Or another call from the puppeteer, George Soros and pals.

I am trying to remember the problem during Katrina of GWB calling out the Louisiana National Guard over the orders of the Governor. There is a law (can't remember the name of it or its exact contents) that says the federal government has to declare martial law in order for the federal government to take over the Guard.

Another symbolic act. The "troops" have been deployed at desks...far from the border. The only impact is that they can go home and talk about their excellent games of Solitaire while accomplishing nothing...on purpose.

Here we go. I'm sure we will hear massive protests from McCain/Kyl any minute now, after seeing their border security plan abandoned.

McCain, Kyl back bill, call for guard on border

There are 35,000 troops on the border at El Paso’s Fort Bliss alone. There are another 7,000 or so at Fort Huachuca, 14 miles north of the border. Trouble is, none of them are being used to guard the border.

Correct. She HAD TO ASK THE FEDS for help. Then POTUS could have sent them in. SHE could have sent them in as the state guard. But you have to have functioning brain cells to do that. She couldn’t make a decision.

It’s like having 250 police on your payroll, and paying them to sit in a coffee shop and eat donuts.

No offense intended to our troops here, but why are we not using them to defend our nation? This is insanity on parade.

Thanks for the mention.

I have a friend on Facebook who affectionately refers to pOs as a “SHITSTAIN”. I believe the woman is a law inforcement officer.
