Bristol Palin's head-scratching elevation to the finals of Dancing With the Stars is still triggering outraged cries of indignation and vote-rigging (and a shotgun blasted TV set), with several critics charging that Tea Partiers used fake email addresses to flood the ballot box in favor of the chief grizzly's cub. "Who knows if the process is ideal?" said the program's executive producer.
.
"But the voting is exactly the same" as it's always been, he added. "I wish they could take a deep breath and get some perspective." Network officials are standing by the vote results. Safeguards exist to prevent vote fraud, but they refused to reveal what those safeguards are, reports the Los Angeles Times. One thing's for certain, the final dance-off will be a doozie. Even Rush Limbaugh is now in on the act, warning Tea Party supporters to be ready for an angry backlash again Bristol. "The left is miserable; they're fit to be tied over this!" crowed Limbaugh. "I love it!"
Especially given the voter fraud perpetrated in Minnesota two years ago that actually mattered! As I recall, the news reacted to that news like this:
(insert white noise here)
(chirping crickets here)
“Gotta love it when libs prove they suffer from a mental illness.
With all the things going on in the world and America that could make you want to shoot your TV, Bristol is the trigger. You are right, liberals are truly unhinged psychologically. They seem to florish on anger.”
I’m not a big fan of all this silly dancing stuff. But it may be worth voting for Bristol just to cause that kind of reaction.
Not Bristol, but Willow, she is 16 yrs old!
OR the terrorist that just skidded in NY!
Some people enjoy watching baseball. Others enjoy watching football. Still others enjoy watching tennis, NASCAR and other racing events, marathons, ice skating, weight lifting, the olympics, you name it. Others enjoy watching people dance. There’s nothing wrong with any of this. I would encourage people to participate in these activities and not just watch them, but watching is okay.
Watching a dancing program on television is not an idiot’s folly anymore than watching any of the things mentioned above is. It’s all a matter of preference. One is not better or worse than the other.
In life, I believe most people prefer to see someone be rewarded deservedly so. If Palin is the best dancer, she deserves to win. If she is not, she doesn’t. And I don’t think it’s out of line to be a little miffed if the person with the most talent related to the show, doesn’t win.
Is the Left acting like a bunch of idiots on this? Obviously some of them are. I don’t think you have to be a person on the left to be miffed if talent doesn’t win out in the end though.
The difference is Jennifer is a professional dancer.
“American Idol has the same problems, heck they even have a website called Vote for the Worst to screw up the show.”
I thought that was the whole point of the show! It’s like the modern day version of the Gong show.
I know that I’m very well read thank you

to register. It is at the very top of the page to the right in tiny little font. I used a throwaway email address and put 1/1/19** as my year of birth. No way will I give them my real one.
On the night of the competition (Monday) there will be a “VOTE” icon somewhere on the page. Just sign in and follow the links. According to Hillbuzz you can vote 10 times per registration. I have not tested it yet.
To vote by phone call 1-800-868-3407. You will hear a message saying “thank you for voting for Bristol and Mark” You can vote six times per phone used. Call right at 8:00pm if you can. The calls go right through then...any later and there are a lot of busy signals.
I loved Rush’s take on this.. Have to say I sort of hope she wins, just to see what the libs will scream.. even though J.G, is the far better dancer.
Not dead people. ...gotta vote from unique phone #s.
She was in an accident and the first surgery was a disaster. She had to go in for emergency second surgery, hence the loss of her distinctive look.
THIS IS JUST FREAKIN SAD.
We have Americans in harms way fighting the muslims that seek to destroy America
We have constant 9.6 plus unemployment
We have rising energy cost and NO decent Government Policy to address it.
We have an impending Govermant Health care program that may possibly destroy the standard of healthcare that we have enjoyed for decades.
And this is what people in America are concerned about? A sorry assed dancing popularity show on TV?
She was 27 when she made Dirty Dancing. But you’re right...every now and then I see “Baby”. :-)
The difference between a basketball game and this show is that people don’t get to vote for who should win the basketball game.
It should not be political.
It is just stupid.
Her weakness is “she doesn't connect emotionally with her partner, Mark”...Although they have been asked repeatedly if they are dating...Go figure!
