Barbara Bush to Palin: Stay in Alaska

Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.

"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."

Bush, along with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, spoke to CNN's Larry King in an interview set to air Monday.

Which is why we have to start connecting Romney to Bush and Rove and Obama. If Romney is seen as an extension of both of those lines of politics then he will be rejected and the Tea Party candidates will look like a good, new alternative.

Oh Oh. There goes any presidential consideration for Jeb Bush. Whom I really like. I also like Barbara Bush but she needs to reset her clock. This is an era that calls for fresh energy and committment and has its own causes and national interests to take care of. Because Sarah Palin got out of Alaska, John McCain and the Republican party were spared horrible embarrassment when Obama forces won the election by only 10 million votes. Sarah is also the reason for the turnout of Republicans and Independents for our most recent House victory. Barbara Bush husband, former President George Bush, lost his second term because he and the Republican party did not listen to the voters who wanted no new taxes. I saw Pres Bush when his campaign train stopped in Thomasville, NC and he was clearly not in good health and should not have been running for a second term at all. Time for these folks to bow out and not be knocking this hard working woman, Sarah Palin, or any other conservative women. These women have the energy and passion needed to straighten out the mess that the Republican self appointed elites have made of this party.
