A threatening letter with white powder was delivered to the Dancing With the Stars production office Friday, but tests indicated the substance was not hazardous, authorities said. In a statement, ABC confirmed the envelope was received at the shows production office and the substance was determined to be talcum powder. Hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI responded to CBS Studios where the hit ABC show is staged, authorities said. An initial field screening was negative for hazardous substances, but the letter will be transported to a regional lab for further testing, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said. The FBI and LAPD are conducting a joint investigation, Eimiller said. The incident occurred just days before the final showdown for the mirrorball trophy. Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin will compete for the prize next week.
Add this to the, if this had been sent to a Democrat file. GP
I’m not going to watch DWTS but I will vote for Bristol just to drive the libs crazy.
Democrats... kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity.
It’s a danged dance show! Get a life, whoever sent this stuff. Are you nuts????
I deleted National Review from my favorites today, if I want to know what the left is up to I go to HuffingtonCompost.
In channel surfing while ago, I saw Geraldo’s lead story about Bristol and DWTS. He started with mentioning Free Republic and a couple of posting excerpts from here about voting for her. Interesting.
“Get a life, whoever sent this stuff. Are you nuts????”
Probably one of BHO’s kool-aid drinkers po’ed that Brandy got voted off instead of Bristol.
It is sad that Brandy lost. But this isn’t a real dancing competition.

Oh, I know, I couldn’t care less that Brandy got voted off. It was just an idle observation :-)
I cannot believe how p**sed off the liberals are about Bristol Palin on a dancing TV show. It’s an entertainment show; it’s something to veg out and watch. It’s not a serious professional competition. Why are the liberals so angry that Bristol has advanced to the finals? Is everything, even a mindless TV show, somehow a political statement to the liberals????????

You just answered your own question :-)
I was at my mother’s house earlier this evening, and asked if she watched Dancing With The Stars. She said ‘yes,’and also that my sister and her were talking about it the other night, and they both agreed that the couple who were dropped last week were better than Bristol Palin and her partner, and that it was obvious politics was involved. (They are both Democrats.) I was tempted to say, “Yeah, that’s too bad, kind of like Obama getting the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing, and Michelle Obama being named one of the Ten Best Dressed Women of 2010 by Vogue despite her innumerable garish and unflattering outfits.” But my mom is 91 and has a bad cold, so I let it drop.
The Dems tried to tell us Palin was a fundamentalist prude, no different than the Taliban; now they’re complaining that her daughter’s shaking her booty on a dance show.
Just typical liberal tolerance.
