We should have the scanners but end the groping. If you don’t want to be scanned, you should go through an Israeli style interview process. If you passed the interview and you are a frequent flyer then you shouldn’t have to go through it again.

Couldn’t be clearer. The purchase of an airline ticket is NOT probable cause of a crime. Ask me where I’m going, check my name against criminal records, etc., but no one has a right to search my person without probable cause. By definition, that’s an unreasonable search.

I agree but that is not going to happen anytime soon. Instead of exposing ourselves to radiation from publicly accessed body scans; instead of allowing some

government clerk to fondle our children

... it looks like the only sane response is to not fly, period.

No worries though for those wealthy enough to own their own private jets.

Those Obama elites will certainly enjoy sharing airspace with all the "Government Security" sanctioned, processed and cleared burkha wearing Muslims.
