Contributing to the impression of shifting sands in his official biography, two newspaper articles from 1990 – apparently based on interviews with Barack Obama – reported that the future president left Hawaii for Indonesia when he was 2 years old, not 6 years old, as he relates in his autobiography.
On May 3, 1990, the Associated Press widely published a feature story on Obama highlighting him as the first African-American named as president of the Harvard Law review.
"Obama moved to Southeast Asia at age 2 when his parents divorced and his mother married an Indonesian," the Associated Press reported. "Until the fifth grade, Obama attended Indonesian schools, where most of his friends were the sons of servants, street peddlers and farmers."
The Associated Press article was widely published throughout the United States in newspapers that typically picked up and reprinted AP stories.

So we have confirmation that Barry indeed very closely resembled the supposedly deceased (when?) David.
Who was (is??) David a twin of, again? I can’t remember.
Never discovered. Must have been a twin of someone, unless he was named after an ancestor who was himself a twin. This is/was rare among Luos. Opiyo means the elder of twins.
But the revelation that his Luo surname was Opiyo could be misdirection or Alinsky tactics to mess with everyone’s head.
Luos give children a surname specific to something special about their birth. Opiyo=first of twins. Okoth=born during rain (usually the rainy season). Odongo=Opiyo’s follower, so second of twins. Barry Odongo?

HALF-BROTHER DAVID 'Everybody's favorite'

BY SCOTT FORNEK Political Editor David Obama was Barack Obama's other half-brother from the marriage of their father and an American woman named Ruth. David Obama was killed in a motorcycle accident before Barack Obama's 1987 visit to Kenya.
" 'He became everybody's favorite,' " Obama's half sister Auma tells him in Dreams From My Father. "'He was so sweet, you know, and funny, even if he was sometimes too wild. . . . His death broke everybody's heart.' "
...A bit of digging reveals that it is pretty tough to find when Obama’s half-brother David Ndesandjo died; some sites put it at 1987. So in the span of several pages, we have an anedote from 1983 (when Obama tells the guard he is 22), his half-brother’s death (at age 25-26?), and a reference to Kemp (which couldn’t have happened before Obama was 28).

After placing the two side by side, I am beginning to think that the toddler image we have been led to believe was of zero...was 'David' all along: 
...and the reason for the 'confusion' regarding when he 'died' may have been created by the NEED to hide zero's first visit to Kenya shortly after the 'old man' died in 1982.
So...who is the child Stanley Ann is supposedly holding in this image...or do we have ANOTHER example of being in two places at the same time?
PS. Presented for your interest and speculation only, I have no answers! Feel free to add any theory you like...there is only ONE IMAGE of 'David' as a youth and that could be anyone...I am particularly interested in theories as to how one child could be so much lighter in skin colour than the other...if that child had the same parents...

Rush keeps inferring that Zero is a fraud as he did today. Wonder who and how many know the truth?

So I believe but it’s also the name of his great great grandfather so I’d be cautious of reading too much into it. (My own name means “champion” but that doesn’t mean I am one!)

1987 is the only date I’ve ever seen quoted although not from any source I’d regard as definative.

Good try, factsman, but it remains true that it’s rare for Luo to name kids after relatives. It remains true that they most often name kids for some characteristic associated with their birth. If his gggrandfather was a twin, that proves that twins runs in the family. Thanks for that evidence. In addition, there are other sources where people say he was mistaken for Barry, if you look for them.
But wait! Didn’t Auma also say that Barry quickly became Granny Sarah’s favorite? Whoops.
In addition, in his book, Barry says Auma cancelled her trip to visit him in NY, planning to come in from Heidelberg, where she was going to college, but then David died. Barry was still in NY when David died. If he did. If any of it is true.

All I can say is...he's wearing the same jacket in Central Park, supposedly from 1982(?) as he is wearing in Kenya...supposedly in 1987.
But that doesn't help, that Central Park image with the Dunhams is a fake composition:
I will try to find that reference in 'Dreams' and post it if I can find it...but Dreams' has no dates, no chronology whatso-ever...
Remember, the 'official' version is that his first trip to Kenya was in 1987. HOWEVER:

Which would indicate he was in Kenya WHILE 'DAVID' WAS STILL ALIVE...if there ever was a 'David'
...sending you excerpt from ‘Dreams’ freepmail, too long to post here, the only mention of Heidelberg I could find was when Auma flew to the US to visit, and that was when he was working in Chicago...he tells her he’s a community organizer.
It deliberately suggests this is their first meeting of course...his 1983 visit to Kenya MUST remain hidden.
When is the Central Park photo supposed to have been taken? He is wearing a wedding ring and I didn’t think he and the Wookie were married until 1992?
(No matter what - it’s clear the picture is photo shopped - the “mysterious hand” is a dead giveaway!)
But it is yet another strange piece of a puzzle that makes less sense as time goes by...I pray the dam of imformation will break soon!
While most times the children of mixed parentage are about the same color, however sometimes one may be significantly lighter or darker than the others. It just depends on the recessive/dominant genes. Of course, that still doesn't take away from me falling off my chair when you first showed me that toddler photo a long time ago.
Another interesting coincidence is out of all the tribe, it's David and Hussein who have that certain charisma. Then there's those "scars" on Hussein's head. Combine that with the villager mistaking Hussein for David OPIYO and what have you got? Probably nothing but it's still curious.

There is no date in the online version of Dreams of when he first (who knows how many times he really went) went to Kenya but it had to have been in 83 because of the conversation with Auma about the lawyers contacting the heirs and how Sarah went balistic that they weren’t Sr.’s kids but Ruth had documents for Mark (but no documents for David??? cough, cough).
