There are a lot of winkies in the airport, so let’s have the TSA examine each and every one - and let the chaos ensue. I consider this a form of civil disobedience.

I agree!!!! I’d do it in a heartbeat. What are they going to do? It’s completely perverse, sick, stupid, immoral, unAmerican and completely uncalled for.
It certainly is but I'd bet they'd lash back somehow. Maybe with charges of "hindering a government agent in the performance of their duties" or some such nonsense.
Tell ya what folks ... there’s a lot of us with “bionic” parts ... we don’t need the “jingle bell”. An artificial knee rings the bell every time ... so it’s not about “opting out” .. many of us don’t have a choice. Since I will “ring the bell” anyway Wednesday, I’m opting out ... nothing like joining a protest line (that I would already be in anyway).
We could call them, "liberty bells" ;-)
