Barbara Bush: ‘You Can’t Dislike Bill Clinton’(Yes I Can!)
The Blaze ^ | 11/23/2010 | Jonathon M. Seidl

Over the weekend former First Lady Barbara Bush shocked some when she took a jab at Sarah Palin, saying she hopes the former Alaskan governor stays in Alaska. Now she’s following that up with another surprising statement, this time saying that “you can’t dislike Bill Clinton.”

During an interview with Larry King that aired in full Monday night, Barbara admitted that while “it took me a little while” to warm up to the man who beat her husband and won the presidency in 1992, she now has nothing but good things to say about him. “You can’t dislike Bill Clinton,” she said. “He’s very likable. And he was so good to George… he would let George have the bed. I have a feeling Bill wishes he had a father like George, truthfully”:

Not Liberals, Progressives. Just as Teddy Roosevelt (R) and Woodrow Wilson (D) were the first early Progressive Presidents.

I think it is becoming apparent that there is a Ruling Class and the Ruled. Guess which one we are... We are no longer a Republic and have not been one for some years. It is more of an Oligarchy of sorts. We only vote on the choices allowed for us.

Reagan was an anomaly, usually we are given the choice between a big gov’t, ruling class Rebpublican and a bigger gov’t ruling class Democrat.

We are being manipulated. Just look how Hillary is being slowly positioned as the better, less liberal alternative to Barack. Hilary has a longer history of ties with Soros and as a follower of the Alinsky “Rules for Radicals” than Obama, but she is the better, smarter, more centrist alternative to Obama???

We have to break the Bush-Clinton power structure.

We have to defeat Hillary.

There's only one who can defeat her and we know her name.

Not to be argumentative, but she makes such a statement about Clinton and makes a completely snide comment about Gov. Palin. How was that being “gracious”?

People with monikers like Vassal4W4evah will go to their graves believing the platitudes, and ignoring the globalist and elitist imperatives of that family. They are heavily invested in wooden nickels from the Bohemian Grove.

Wonderful. I know dozens of people like that. Any one of them would have been a better President.

I swear they’re all on the same team.

Bushes, Lugar, Powell, Rice, Romney, Murkowski make me want to puke. They are all big government ruling class screwups.

You can’t dislike Bill Clinton! He's just such a charming, disarming, little spoiled peterhound. Always tugging at his zipper, or yours. Yes, mine! Such an irrepressible scamp, you just can't possibly stay mad at him. And that witch Hillary, she just treats him so bad all the time...

Saying stupid things to the media will get her even more attention than having her picture on the $1.00 bill.

I suspect GHW Bush & Barbara both have warmer memories of Bill Clinton than Ronald Reagan. Ronald Reagan was never ‘one of them’. Barbara’s comments reveal the truth inside.

As Jesus said, “But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.”

Amen !! Brother.

I was just thinking of this when I read the title- how Barbara is spouting off and Laura believes in choice and gay marriage. I LOVED both of them as First Ladies but now am totally disappointed in both for being so elitist.

*************************************

To figure out politicians, turn the sound off. By that, I mean ignore every bit of noise they make - every sound, every word. Instead, watch each deed, each bit of policy and legislation enacted.

When you ignore all the rhetoric, and focus solely on the deeds, the past 22 years of malfeasance and dismemberment of American prosperity and independence are chilling.

They are also philosophically consistent.

The Republicans now have their own version of Jimma Carter. Welcome Barbara “Babs” Bush. She likes the Clinton M.O and wishes that Sarah Palin would stay at home. Maybe she just wants to protect Jeb. Barbara is the epitome of an elitist.

It’s politics. What else are they going to say in public? Do you think that Obama actually admires Reagan?
