S.Korea to Buy $1.2 Bil Dollar Worth of K9 and F-15Ks

The South Korean government has set a 1.4 trillion won or about 1.2-billion-US-dollar budget in purchasing K-9 self-propelled howitzers and F-15K fighter jets with the hopes of strengthening the country's military and naval forces.

According to finance and defense ministries on Friday the amount of next year's national defense budget has increased 5.8 percent compared to this year's.

Such an increase is seen as an effort to strengthen South Korea's military capabilities in the wake of North Korea's attack on Yeonpyeong Island this week.

With the newly set budget Seoul will be able to buy one hundred more K-9 self-propelled howitzers which cost 3.5 million dollars each along with eight to nine additional 88-million dollar F-15K fighter jets next year.

It may be all over by the time any of that gets delivered. They might want to make sure it comes with an amenable cancellation policy, just in case.

Could it be that North Korea managed to seal a deal that Obama failed to make when he was in Seoul for the G-20 meeting?

Maybe ocommie made a deal with NK to juice up SK's need for hardware? Zero's version of job creation.

You know, the Nobel peace guy.

Imagine a bully thug in a school setting. It is well known that he has it in for a more peaceable and brighter classmate . The classmate returns to his locker one day only to be injured when heavy metal objects fall on him upon opening the locker.

Everybody believes it is the work of the bully who denies responsibility, but then proof is uncovered that the bully was indeed the perpetrator of the attack.

At this point the school administrators do a lot of conferencing, talking amongst themselves, and determine it would be too confrontative to restrain the bully at this time.

Emboldened, the bully sees his victim in the hallway and punches him directly in the nose.

The principal then does nothing, apparently preoccupied with a split lip he received while goofing off himself. Previous to all of these events, the principal, a completely inexperienced and gutless weakling, had allowed other bullies to remain on campus. He did however, have the campus police send everyone through metal detectors each morning and prohibit wearing any clothing the bullies didn’t like being worn.

K-9s?
So what?
Kim Jong Il is training one right now, except his canine doesn't bark, can't bite and won't hunt.

Little Kim just rolls up a newspaper and his canine wets himself and hides under his desk in the Oval Office.
