"Oh really? Where does she stand on Cap and Trade?"

She appears to be for it, ad for the Law of the Sea Treaty as well.

We must have missed where these two things were supported by conservatives.

I think I fell asleep and awakened in a new conservative world.:^)

Palin on Cap and Trade: "I am deeply concerned about President Obama's cap-and-trade energy plan, and I believe it is an enormous threat to our economy. It would undermine our recovery over the short term and would inflict permanent damage."

Excerpted from her Washington Post op-ed dated July 14, 2009.

She appears to be for it? If you don't know, say you don't know. Palin is very much against Cap and Trade, and she calls it Cap and Tax. Her position is easy thing to discover. Start with her autobiography. Or her Facebook page--or just Google her name and the term. This, for instance, is from her Facebook page:

"I’ve made no secret of the fact that I think cap-and-tax could potentially be more disastrous to our economy than Obamacare because it would devastate our businesses and cripple our energy and industrial sectors."

Freerepublic is a site visited by very passionate, knowledgable and outspoken members.

Your assertion is so factually incorrect that I question your affiliations.

F.Y.I. Palin is on record for both LOST and carbon credits.

LOST.

"Q: Let me clear something up: Sen. McCain has said he supports caps on carbon emissions. Sen. Obama has said he supports clean coal technology, which I don’t believe you’ve always supported. Do you support capping carbon emissions? PALIN: I do. I do."
