Stuff he said that was complimentary about the IRA. A very quick google picked it up, I’m sure you could find it.
Well, first of all, the original accusation was that he was a communist, which I find to be completely unsubstantiated so far.
Concerning the IRA affiliation, post 31 discusses that. From what I understand, he has distanced himself from them.
Everything I have heard from him in the past couple of years has been pretty good. He is an outspoken conservative, from what I can tell.
An outspoken conservative? He said that if people opt out of the scanners and don’t want the enhanced patdowns from the TSA they are to blame if a terrorist blows up an airplane. I might agree with some of what he says but I’m not sure he’s in line with the Constitution. The American people have a right not to have the government search their persons that intimately when they have not even been accused of a crime.
And if what I read was accurate he was praising IRA members. Maybe he has recanted? I don’t know that much about him, but I have to say, seeing what he said on FOX the other day certainly has made me rethink my opinion of him. NO ONE is responsible for a terror attack on an airplane because they refuse to get groped or scanned by the TSA. Using that logic, the government is equally at fault because they refuse to profile.
