George W. Bush to answer questions live from Facebook headquarters [Today at 2 PM PST]

Facebook has just announced that George W. Bush is going to be present tomorrow November 29th to answer questions about his new book Decision Points. The discussion will happen on Facebook Live at 2PM PST.

It is unclear whether Mark Zuckerberg will be attending the Q&A but its likely. I can only assume that Facebook is the platform for this discussion because of the sheer number of members Bush can reach at one time. There is no mention of who will interview the president and how long it will take but I am sure more information will develop as we get closer to the time frame of the interview.

Everything, everywhere is Bush's fault.

See, strawman....

Look at the first two years of the GOP Congress that he presided over. What were his major concerns? Immigration, No Child Left Behind (massive intrusion of the Dept of Ed in our lives), Drugs for seniors (another massive increase in the govt.)

He pushed the Patriot Act which was basically written by Biden. Bush played with the liberal establishment instead of fighting them. One only has to look at his vetoes to see he NEVER put a stop to the massive growth of govt.

Well stated.

For a so-called "conservative" GW sure governed like a Democrat - and surprisingly early on.

Despite the GOP holding the House, Senate, and and Executive Branch after the 2004 elections, GW still avoided pushing through a conservative agenda. That was inexcusable.

That's your defense?? That you don't say the word "hate??" LOL!

No matter that every word you say oozes hatred. No matter that you could be Barack Obama in drag in your blaming Bush for all the world's ills.

btw, still waiting for your defense of accusing me of being a Bush loving idolator, yet whining that my saying you hate Bush is an 'ad hominem strawman."

How exactly does that work, ray?

You have the corner of the market on strawmen, ray.

Try again.

It's amusing to see you squirm and evade.

ohioWfan, you seem to be including me in your raybbr stuff, please don’t.

I’m not a BDS sufferer. I’m also done with this thread.

I love that his being a gentleman and respecting the office of the Presidency is used against him. No. He didn't 'fight back' politically. Agree or disagree, he did it out of principle and not weakness.

And it's not a lack of courage that makes him continue to not lash back even now. It's his respect, class and grace. Only those blinded by ideology can't see that.

As for the border, that's arguable. One can disagree with his policy about how best to do it without calling him a 'wimp' for not doing what we want.

btw, I don't think Saddam Hussein, his sons, and all the dead terrorists around the globe think he's a 'wimp.' I don't think the people who realize that we weren't hit by terrorists again after he implemented strong policies and took the fight to the enemy believe he's a 'wimp.'

Your argument that President Bush is gutless is still silly.

Mr. President, how's that "No Child Left Behind" working?

Mr. President, how did The Patriot Act get written so quickly, who wrote it and did you read it before you signed it?

I only pinged you because I was responding to ray's specific response to you. (Only as an FR courtesy).

I definitely wasn't including you in his very small, yet noisy Bush hating tribe.

(btw, good move to get off this thread. :)

Once again, my comments were not directed at you, and I pinged you only as an FR courtesy.

I'm sorry I didn't make that clear.

We will be trying to figure out why conservatives (including 80% of young, pro-life Christian kids!) voted FOR Obama.

It's bewildering and troubling to say the least.

Biden himself draws parallels between his 1995 bill and its 2001 cousin. “I drafted a terrorism bill after the Oklahoma City bombing. And the bill John Ashcroft sent up was my bill,” he said when the Patriot Act was being debated, according to the New Republic, which described him as “the Democratic Party’s de facto spokesman on the war against terrorism.”

President Bush liberal? Not in any sense of the word...he was for private ownership, indeed he wanted each person to own at least a part of their retirement...where were you when all the so called conservatives ran away leaving W to battle alone? How about liberating over 50 million people? Don’t get more conservative than that, except maybe to stand up for the sanctity of life at every turn, he saved millions of lives in Africa, he provided for a huge tax cut, he worked hard to make the EPA a better organization that worked with others rather than ruling over them. I guess your idea of conservatism is what? I think you are just ignorant and proud of it!!!

An airplane was about to crash; there were 5 passengers on board, but only 4 parachutes.

The first passenger said, “I am President Obama, the chosen one.
America needs me, I can’t afford to die.” So he took the first pack and left the plane.

The second passenger, Nancy Pelosi said I am the speaker of the house.
I am the smartest woman in American history, so surely the citizens of the United States don’t want me to die.” She took the second pack and jumped out of the plane.

The third passenger, John Kerry, said, “I’m a Senator, and a decorated war hero from the Army of the United States of America ”. So he grabbed the pack next to him and jumped.

The fourth passenger, Ex-President George W. Bush, said to the fifth passenger, a 10-year-old schoolgirl, “I have lived a full life, and served my country the best I could. I will sacrifice my life and let you have the last parachute.”

The girl said, “That’s okay. There’s a parachute left for you. America ’s smartest woman took my schoolbag.”

Sorry but I've had trouble with the Bush "clan" ever since reading "Compromised" by Terry Reed and John Cummings.

Compromised: Clinton, Bush and the CIA

Ah! Okay. Hate is sin. So, then, you are now claiming to see into my heart. I thought only God could do that. Do you count yourself equal to God? Sounds like you may need to reconcile that with yourself.

btw, still waiting for your defense of accusing me of being a Bush loving idolator, yet whining that my saying you hate Bush is an 'ad hominem strawman."

Again putting words into my posts. I never called you an idolater.
