In an interview on Aaron Klein's radio show, former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton confirmed his interest in the 2012 presidential race while taking the opportunity to critique President Obama's foreign policy, arguing that the president is not comfortable advancing American interests around the globe and prefers to focus on domestic policies.
When asked about his interest in challenging Obama, Bolton said, "Yes, I am considering it. And largely for the reasons we just talked about. I am very concerned about the direction of national security policy. I am concerned that we hardly talk about it at national-level debates in the mainstream media. The president, as they say, just seems to view national security issues as an irritation, as a distraction from what his real priorities are."

The cultist meme is not aimed at every Palin fan. Only at the ones that lie on her behalf and spend 90% of their FR time on Palin threads or other threads trying to kneecap Palin’s potential opponents. I’ve seen folks here compare her favorably to Reagan. It’d be criminal if it weren’t so funny.
Well, thanks, but I think you would be more effective on the forum if you would choose a few candidates and concentrate on highlighting their accomplishments and advantages.
Now, when people see your posts they just see Palin hater and dismiss your comments.
I think it's great that he's seriously considering it. I'd need to know more about his positions outside foreign policy, but he has the gravitas for the job and he'd make an intriguing dark horse candidate in the race. We shouldn't toss all our eggs in one basket.
While he's unlikely to be nominated in 2012, the ultimate poetic justice would be if his candidacy knocked the wind of John Thune's sails and derailed his Presidential bid. Thune said "what goes around, comes around" when he lynched Bolton's career in order to blackmail the GOP. I'd love to see Bolton return the favor. Payback is a b----.
