Senate action on legislation revamping the nation's food safety laws will be delayed until Tuesday morning.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., announced Monday afternoon that two amendments (Coburn earmark ban, Coburn substitute that pays for food safety --- neither of which are expected to get the 67 votes needed for passage) and final passage of the food safety legislation will start at 9:00 am Tuesday.

The final bill is expected to pass. The House still must vote on the bill as well but is expected to pass without much difficulty

Which Republican Senators are going to vote YES on cloture. Remember, this entire lame duck session can be completely neutered if only the RINOs in the Senate would vote against it. If anything passes during this session, there are Republicans to blame, all of whom should be primaried.

Today Glenn Beck mentioned that Monsanto will benefit most form this bill. And who is the largest shareholder in Monsanto? George Soros.

Some have criticized recently-added language that exempts small farmers and food facilities with less than $500,000 in annual sales that directly market to consumers within a 275-mile area.

Despite the fact that they have no actual constitutional authority from We the People to regulate intrastate commerce.

Such a 275-mile limit is completely arbitrary.

The founders of this great nation would have a fit if they could see this nonsense.

“Starvation in America
Every year this number goes up. America is slowly but surely becoming a third world country per the New World Order plans. The fastest way to cause chaos in a country is to let the poor starve. America sends trillions in aid to foreign countries but lets people in our own country starve on a regular basis. The red tape that a family has to go thru to get government minimum assistance is mind boggling.

The Cloture Vote was last week. This is a vote to send it back to the House as amended.

This law is treason and hands not only the rights of individuals but the sovereignty of the US as well. The World Trade Organization and the UN are big winners and get to be the major players in forming US food policy under this bill. The bill basically outlaws unauthorized gardening and storing of seeds and then puts the owner of the GMO seed company Monsanto, in charge of it all. Geee I wonder if there is there a conflict of interest in there? Hmmmm....

Also, see this link for a summary of more dangerous aspects of this bill. This stinks of corporate/government corruption of the George Soros variety to high heaven. The feds have no right to control private food supplies.
