There was a hilarious clip on YouTube a few years ago of a defendant (acting as his own lawyer) who “suffers a heart attack” while addressing the court. It’s laughably fake. The judge doesn’t bat an eye. The baliff doesn’t move. Everyone just waits for the clown to stop moaning and clutching his chest.

What stress? Afterall, the defense is maintaining that the perp is mentally ill and thus not responsible for his crimes. He can't comprehend that what he did is wrong, so he also shouldn't be able to comprehend what serious trouble he is in.
