The Guardian probably includes itself among "WikiLeaks enthusiasts" and I'll bet they know where Assange is...

Interpol will need to ask the Russians for the location of Assange’s remains...

But Assange's most pressing headache is Sweden. Swedish prosecutors have issued an international and European arrest warrant (EAW) for him in connection with rape allegations, and the warrant has been upheld by a Swedish appeal court.

Sweden, of all places, may be the ones to put this creep out of business???

"Friends said earlier that Assange was in a buoyant mood..."

I hope he enjoys his fifteen minutes, and whatever's left of his all-too-brief life.

He's pissed off practically every nation on the planet, and there's a 100% chance that one of them is going to get to him before any police agency does.

I don’t understand why most people here hate this guy. He’s exposing the governments unsavory deeds and thus helping to shrink the government which is what most conservatives want, right?

Personally I hope at the very least this will teach the government to be a little more careful in protecting classified material. Hell if this guy got all of this information just imagine what kind of stuff other governments are extracting from classified servers across the fruited plain. I would also hope that this would get rid of some of the PC crap we’ve been feed about the “war on terrorism” but I kind of doubt that will happen.

Europe has enormous contempt for the US and its legal system (Roman Polanski,Ira Einhorn, etc, etc) so this twinkle toed little Communist knows he's safe there.Safe from extradition, that is.

Assange was a hero as long as he was attacking GEORGE BUSH.

Now, he is an ENEMY OF THE STATE because he made DEMOCRATS look bad. that can not be allowed.

For “Sex Crimes” I see. Interpol posted this today. It certainly looks like state “officials” are thrashing around looking to somehow get him.

When he started to threaten a big bank then it was over. The bankers are the ones truly running the show. I do not agree with the unbridled release of Government communications. I think there has to be some consideration given to the consequences of such a release. In many cases though I do agree with it- if it exposes lies and fraud, but puts no ones life in danger. I also do not agree with exposing normal operational information that just mucks everything up, but does not involve lies and fraud or illegal activity.

Well the Banker info is none of that for sure, And I wish that He had just released that info while he had the chance. OK-Filter out anything that is not relevant or that would put innocent customers at risk in anyway. Those guys really do need to be exposed. Our traditional freedom depends on it.

The Jerk-in-Chief could`nt have cared less as long as military secrets and the names and locations of CIA agents were being disclosed. But now that his junta might be embarrassed, he`s suddenly concerned.
