What’s your point? The public schools in Indiana ARE a disaster.

There is absolutely NO difference in voting for Dick Lugar and voting for a Democrat. NONE!

I beg to differ. There are two important differences. First, Lugar many times votes with Republicans--Democrats never vote with Republicans.

Even Lugar is not the most liberal of the Republicans in congress. There are some worse and at least every one of these RINOs still count toward a majority and it is very important we get in the majority--just like what has happened now in the House.

Everyone of those Republicans may not be what we would ultimately like to have but they still have value.

Stop believing this crap that there is no difference between the parties--it's lie that's been repeated too often.

We truly are making progres so let's keep it going.

Look for some Tea Partier to take out Lugar in the next primary but until then, ride Lugar's backside.

When I commented that the schools in Indiana were a disaster I had my head handed to me. Read the thread and see for yourself.

As in NJ and elsewhere, any attempt to change the paradigm is met with resistance, fierce resistance.

NEA spent $8 MILLION against Christie in NJ and his approval ratings are up substantially.

Lugar has ‘grown’ too much in office, it appears.

And the DREAM Act? That, Helmke said, would help those who came to the U.S. as children and have proved their merit in college or in the military.

What about the American children who have proved their merit? What extras will they receive? These illegal immigrants have cost the American taxpayers millions of dollars. I don't think most people realize, due to their limited English, it costs more to educate children of illegals. Americans have had to cut back (short changing our children) to pay the ever increasing school taxes. Their parents paid nothing to build the schools their children attend. It's un-American to harm Americans by rewarding these people further?

He like many Repubics like Spector have become worse over time especially when the Dems are running the show. Their not chairman so they can go renegade more like McCain. He did sign the letter of 42 surprisingly.

Got to get to Jan 3rd and get the number to 47 then they have more power on the majority side 50/50 votes but less on the 41.

Is the guy who ran against Coats going to make another run or is a current congressman, Pence is running for Pres I think, he would probably be the best challenger.

Republicans in Indiana need to push through a comprehensive sore loser law before the 2012 Republican primary or tricky Dick will pull a Murkowski and run as a write-in candidate.

People in IN are so uninformed that they know none of this. Who will tell them? And could they remember it if told?
