Sounds as if someone may have hired a professional killer. If there are any real clues, they aren’t mentioned in the article.

This is a curious case indeed. Made for tv. I expect that my wife will be watching that episode soon enough.

... According to the preliminary coroner's report, which is now under security hold, "there were three apparent gunshot wounds to the right side breast/chest area. There were two apparent gunshot wounds to the right shoulder. There was an apparent gunshot wound to the right upper back and the left upper back."

What's so 'expert marksman' about this slaying? Sounds like someone sprayed the driver's side of her Mercedes with a MAC-10/9 to me.

I guess that it wouldn't Hollywood without an insidious 'expert marksman' in the story, though. This story is even more pretentious than the co-author's names.

No kidding. An “expert marksman” would have put one between her eyes, or behind her ear, and that would have been that. Prolly some scumbag gangbangers trying to steal her car.

Leaned into the passenger side window and opened up.

Hope the cops can fid the killer - I suspect we will hear more when someone in the posse needs to dime out one of the crew to save their own sorry butt.....

She's driving. All the rounds hit her right side. How does one do this from the driver's side pray do tell me?

"there were three apparent gunshot wounds to the right side breast/chest area.

An "expert marksman" would not have been aiming for her right side and would not have had to take three shots.

Well , they think cops are EXPERTS.

if you think about a real quick target acquisition, firing three shots quickly and all three hitting the target, well it would seem to me that whoever did this was at least familiar with a pistol.

Now as far as expert..... time will tell.
