Well of course — they have the same ancestors, and the love of the pipes is in the blood! :’)

When tired they shook hands and then hame did return.
If the kirks a' owre Scotland held like social meetin's
Nae warnin' ye'd need from a far-tinklin' bell,
For true love and friends wad draw ye thegither
Far better than roarin' the horrors o' hell.
That’s the very song. And the rendition of it that they liked so much is an a cappella version.
Andy Stewart? My favorite — heard it first, oh, 25+ years ago but it still makes me laugh.
