Well guess what, Steny?

If they don't like it, they can just go home. If you don't like it, you can go home too.

I can’t wait until these staffers hit the streets looking for work that doesn’t exist. Unemployment lines are in their future. Thank you God, they now reap what they sowed!!!

Wait until they try to find a physician thanks to AuschwitzCare. Rationing and Zero’s Death Panels await them too?

Evil me...this caused such a pleasant feeling as I thought about the “serious situation” these pukes find themselves in...they bought it, they can take it home!

Here in Pennsylvania, this story is particularly heartwarming since it affects Arlen Specter, one of the most useless gobs of protoplasm ever to emerge from the gene pool.

actually, since there is a lame duck period, they are still on the job and the opposit could be claimed.

Instead of a transition, they could demand to stay in their offices and the incoming newbies would be forced to transition during Christmas break.

We want smooth transitions. One way would be to eliminate the lame duck session as an anachronism. After elections, transition time is a break and then a short session with new class and then Christmas.

This Congress should have permanently adjourned before the election.

There's no good reason for a lame duck session. Anything not done before the election can wait until the new Congress takes office.

If they didn't get everything done, that's nobody's fault but their own.

"Grayson’s spokesman, Todd Jurkowski..."

ROFL! What a perfect name for a Grayson spokesman!

Oh, the humanity! The sense of entitlement dripping from these liberal elites is overwhelming. They really believe that they should have their jobs and perks for life and beyond, passing their princely crown to their heirs in due course. No matter that the voters have thrown them out, they don’t know what they are doing and shouldn’t be allowed to vote anyway. The gall of the American people to challenge their right to rule.

This is one change to our democratic system that I could support.

Hold the election and then give the losers two weeks to clear out of their offices. No more lame duck sessions. The new congress would then start at the end of these two weeks.

This lameduck session is not conducting the people’s business. It is still pushing the agenda that was repudiated by the American electorate last month. As it is, it will take years to undo the damage that has been done by this congress.

That “odd feeling” is called reality. Of course after a few phone calls and connections he will have his not-so-odd feelings back again.

Welcome to the real world you soon-to-be-former members of Congress.

We in the private sector are able to get our jobs done with efficiency ... here in the land of office cubes... we generate revenue that in turn generates taxes that go into a black hole called the U.S. Treasury.

Stop complaining and become productive for once in your lives.

Many years ago, I worked at American Motors in Kenosha Wis. I worked in the Accounts Payable department.
AM was very busy at that time- working 3 shifts a day of 10 hours each, overlapping.

We were so crammed into that space that if you opened the file drawer in your desk, it hit the desk behind.
If someone wanted to pass down your aisle to the full wall of 4 drawer files , you had to stand up & put your chair further in to let the person pass. We could pass papers back & forth without stretching at all.

There were 24 people in that one area alsone.

This condition is due to a “Terminal Arrogance” on their part. I have absolutely no sympathy for these cretin.

I hope the Capitol Police are keeping a close eye on Grayson, the lame duck most likely to go postal.
