This is nothing but an attempt to move consumers to On Star which is a Government Motors product. Cell phones are direct competition to this product and they don’t like it. Not too long ago there was a commercial running were a guy gets into a accident and can’t find his cell phone because of the impact. The hook was that On Star was there and came to the rescue.
I am the operator of a public utility. A water company. I have the responsibility for the health and the safety of 1,500 people. I’m on 24 hour, 365 days a year, emergency call. I have a cell phone for only one reason; that I can be reached no matter what I’m doing. This is stoopid! What about Doctors, etc.? This is stoopid!!!!!
