Did Barney Frank Conceal Evidence in Ethics Investigation?
Liberty Central ^

Posted on 12/03/2010 7:50:31 PM PST by NanMan

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) is frustrated that her ethics investigation has been suspended – shortly before she was supposed to face an investigative hearing to look at the charges against her. The pause came abruptly in October, when investigators of the House Ethics Committee discovered a critical piece of information – an E-mail from Waters’s Chief of Staff – that had not been turned over to committee investigators. Now – according to the Washington Post – investigators are trying to determine why the E-mail was not discovered until after the formal investigation had concluded

Barney has a very special spot where he can stash the evidence.

I am all for aggressive investigations by the House Ethics Committee. Often GOP members get burned. I say burn every single one of them, regardless of party, who isn’t squeaky clean. We should have no tolerance for corruption.

haha.

I guess from reading on here that some freepers can vent anywhere they want.

I am all for freedom I just think sometimes on here talk about writing checks their ass can’t cash. Or maybe that was a bad choice of words.

I don’t like criminals but am not 100% hip to killing a human because he tried to steal 2 beers from a quikie mart.

Some people need killing I will admit, but for a sane person, there is a price for killing someone. Is $1.78 worth of beer being stolen(or recovered because you killed the perp) worth waking up once from bad dream or wondering later on if you did the right thing?

Just saying, if someone wants to harm you or your family for no good reason, then defend yourself. If a poor bastard runs out of your quickie mart with a 40oz, call the cops, no need to kill them(I can already feel the flames) over something that costs less than you spend at McD’s for breakfast.

So to make a short answer long, yes a Freeper can vent in the woods, preferable with a gun or a bow.

Ed Morrissey has a nice write-up of what's going down at HOT AIR:
House Ethics committee targeting Finance next?.

Frank has plausible deniabilty because he asked his staff to get all relevant docs. But anything to make him twitch is worth it.
I think it's hilarious that Waters was loud-mouthing about having the trial now (as in, the 111th Congress), but this discovery of the email will likely force her hearings into the 112th Congress!

Paraphrasing Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee from the movie, All the President's Men, "She's gonna get her tits caught in a wringer."

No flaming from me. Last time I checked, robbery was not punishable by death. Threaten me or my family, and that is another situation altogether..
