Gov. Bobby Jindal: Sarah Palin "Absolutely" Electable for President

Saying let the voters decide, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has 'manned up' and told Sarah Palin critics Joe Scarborough, the Republican establishment and D.C. insiders to back off in trying to pick who should be the Republican nominee for president in 2012.
In response to a question as to whether former Alaska Governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin would be "electable" should she run for president, Jindal said "Oh, absolutely. I think it is up to her to make the case to voters," adding that Palin is one of "several strong (GOP) contenders."
Jindal made his comments during an interview with Al Hunt on Bloomberg TV.

I picture Palin up against Pres. Obamaprompter in a debate situation.
No contest.

Damn right she is electable.
You can fool the American people once but you can’t fool them twice.

I heard Bobby Jindal on Levin today and he was great. I never saw a sitting politician speak so plainly about his faith. He also spoke the truth about Obama, and didn’t sugar coat it. I’d be satisfied with Jindal, Palin, or Demint. They seem to be the only possible candidates who have the guts to take it to Obama.

I never saw a sitting politician speak so plainly about his faith. Jindal has what I think of as an all-American religious tale, it seems to be a real, honest, personal, embracing of Christian faith.

Jindal has the faith to beat Obama. Palin has the spunk to beat him. The two running together would be interesting, however, I’d rather see Jindal at the top of the ticket, but either way, they’d have our votes.

Kind of proud of Bobby Jindal on this or maybe he's just realizing which way the wind is blowing.
Not a rocked ribbed conservative, but well to the right of G. W. Bush.
What I'm hoping for is that he'll go up against Mary Landrieau and rid us of that embarrassment.

I think you are giving the sheeple way too much credit - never forget the state run media is in love with America bashing - it comes natural to supporters of STATEISM. This makes beating the Basher in Chief all that much harder, but give us two more years of this nonsense and America should be ready for a GOP in the WH again. All depends on the 2012 turnout. If the RAT party can rally their base - the takers - then the makers may not win, regardless of policies or charisma.
I would love to see a Palin/Jindal 2012 - either one on top.

I would love to see the youth, the vigor, the Americanism, captured in that ticket, both of those people love being Americans, and they are both grateful, passionate Christians, it is like the old days of America, reborn.

I agree! This ticket has crossed my mind as well! Maybe John Bolton as SoS?

I like the idea of that. I have HUGE respect for Bolton. I want Michele Bachmann in the Administration as well

Exactly what I’ve been thinking since the day after the elections in 2008. Palin/Jindal 2012 would be a formidable team!
To: kristinn
I’d love to see a Jindal/Palin ticket.
But I’ve also got my eye on Paul Ryan. He’s the real deal too.
