China Joins the Axis of Evil

Pyongyang's nuclear program would have been impossible without Beijing.

BY BRET STEPHENS

Last month, U.S. nuclear scientist Siegfried Hecker paid his fourth visit to North Korea, where he was granted a tour of some of the hermit kingdom's nuclear facilities. Think WikiLeaks is bad? Compared to what the former director of the Los Alamos lab saw, it's nothing.

Mr. Hecker was given a tour of a construction site where Pyongyang intends to build a 100-megawatt reactor. Next he was taken to a uranium enrichment facility. "The first look through the windows of the observation deck into the two long high-bay areas was stunning," relates Mr. Hecker. "Instead of seeing a few small ...

Pyongyang's nuclear program would have been impossible without Beijing.

We knew this during the Clinton Administration. There were reagents that China had supplied the Norks that made it unmistakable.

If China is giving North Korea the means for making nukes, what should stop the US from giving Taiwan that same capability?

Not to worry. Obama will disarm us. That will show China, NK and Iran the error of their ways. [/s]

China Joins the Axis of Evil

----------------------------

I say it's been there since Mao.

Tens of millions of victims of political persecution (the so-called 'cultural revolution') never appreciated the 'compassion and love' of Mao. Torture, concentration camps, summary executions, that's what the marxist cultists call 'compassion and love.' He 'loved' millions into their graves through famine and slave labor.

Yeah, ironic, eh?

Every Administration and Congress since GH Bush knew exactly the position they would eventually be putting us in by handing China 'Most Favored Nation' status and sponsoring their membership into the WTO.

It's not like the Globalist Ruling Class couldn't figure out American factories and industry wouldn't be able to compete with a Slave Labor force the population of the USA.

One can only conclude the worst of our "leadership" since Reagan.

Iran, N. Korea, and Pakistan: part of outer layer

China : inner layer — ring leader shaping long-term behavior of the three above, and others.

Personnel and material traffic among three countries of outer layer is frequently going through Chinese territory. China also surreptitiously supplies some key component or ingredients. They keep it discrete, letting Chinese businessmen run smuggling(i.e., not officially sanctioned) operation.

It started way before Reagan. He wasn’t supposed to happen.

Think of this, folks, ANYTIME you are in a Walmart (or nearly anywhere else):

We are signing our own death warrants while propping them up with our spendable income(s) with nary a second thought about it.

Sorta like the oil industry. Our whole economy is so dependent on the oil industry, our economy and the rest of the world would colapse if we suddenly had an alternate cheap energy source.Same with walmart.if we suddenly embargoed anything coming from china, it would colapse our already fragile economy. It’s a slippery slope, once you fall in it’s impossible to climb out.It would take decades to re establish our manufacturing base and retool to produce the goods we now get from china.
