Yep, but the various stashes of WMD weren't kept in special buildings with a "Saddam's WMD" sign on the door, so there was no WMD for the New York Times to report.

I have always believed there were WMD in Iraq. For me, that's a bit of a no-brainer. And during the Bush administration, I heard small bits of news that some WMD were found, but they never seemed to make a big deal out of it.
Well, if it turns out that we actually had lots of hard evidence that Iraq had WMD -- why on Earth didn't the Bush administration go to the NYT and cram that evidence down their throat????

The above itself is a lie, which was my biggest issue w/the Bush-lied folks.
Nukes are NOT the only type of WMD. WMD include chemical and biological weapons which Hussein used.
Most of the Bush lied folks I argued w/did not realize that WMD is not necessarily nuclear.
The THREAT of adding nukes to the equation was part of the THREAT picture of Iraq and was PART of the justification for going in.
Were WMD the WHOLE justification, would we not be in North Korea already? They have nukes and support terrorism yes?
In arguments w/same folks, I’d ask “so if they had nukes you’d support an invasion?”
To cover they’re butts on prior ridiculous claims they’d invariably say “yes”.
“So you’d support an invasion of North Korea?” I ask.
“Uhhhh...” they respond.

If WikiLeaks TMZ ever becomes a reality maybe Rush could have his own segment. From yesterday’s radio show:

Well, that we DIDN’T find them is proof enough that they were there.
If we had went over there KNOWING that there were no WMD’s enough would have been ‘planted’ and ‘found’ to justify the actions.
OH BTW
I always though yellow cakes were found in mens rest rooms that don’t get cleaned very often....
