Some people just no longer have the survival gene, IMO.

They insist on finding more & more stupid ‘vacations’ to entertain themselves.

Sorta like Crack Cocaine: Whatever Fred & Martha did last year has to be topped by something wilder & stupider this year.

Their life insurance should be cancelled.

As you are being drowned and chewed up by the croc which do you think would be foremost in your mind? Or are you wishing for the inevitable to hurry up?

Hey, some of us take risks...calculated risks because life is just not meant to be all about safety. Take going to Ranger School for instance. It is dangerous but I’m glad some choose to go (not me). Others do the tough stuff to prepare themselves, see what there is to see, or learn something.

The catch-22 is that Life if too valuable and fragile to take risks but Life is too short not to...

If I get killed by a rattlesnake on one of my deep woods hikes, or killed on my motorcycle negotiating traffic, or freeze to death on one of my mountain trips, well I’m afraid you Dawinists will be sad to learn that my genes have already been passed on and I have five children that are just as stubborn as me.
