Why Palin Makes Liberals Nuts

But what we face, is that a few generations back, it was much harder to visibly discern the array of differences between us. Today, they are stark. Academics claim that morality is based upon political ideology, and supposedly great thinkers laud them for their innovative approach to complex problems. The Colonists rejected the King, precisely because the King claimed that what was moral and just was defined by what the King wanted. To those of us who hold other views, there is negligible difference between modern progressives and the kings of yore, for obvious reasons.

Her refusal to exterminate her child seems an indictment to those who did.

Palin's not dumb. Not ignorant. She is the child of two passionate teachers. She knows more about biology and physics and math and history and geography and the list goes on, than the vast majority. She knows her place and our place in history. And she knows where we, Americans came from. And that exceptionally bright "city upon a hill" and "beacon of liberty" to the world. That's the kind of teaching that real teachers taught. It may be "ignorance" as defined by progressives. But it's the wisdom of age, time, and history.

Exceptionally good column!

SARAH PALIN'S PING LIST

The liberals were always nuts. Sarah merely amplifies that fact. The liberal crackup is fun to watch! :-p

Liberals melt like the witch in Oz when the light of truth gets anywhere near them. Palin, Rush, Hannity...etc, all make them cringe like a vamp exposed to light.

Thank you for this most worthy ping.

This really struck me:

Parents taught frugality, but it seemed that even the non-frugal did ok. Parents taught to be patient and to restrain yourself and be prudent and all those other things, and yet, we saw the impatient and imprudent prosper.

It IS confusing to the ungrounded, to see the "impatient and imprudent prosper."

I believe the school of hard knocks catches up with everyone, no matter what kind of parenting we've had and/or provided.

I just can’t wait for the debates! When do they begin? This will be the most entertaining ever. This will finally show who has the goods. It will be predictable though. The monitors will be liberal and folks will complain. A question will be asked and everyone will complain. Someone will look wrong and everyone will complain. Someone will say that a candidate has been asked difficult questions and everyone will complain. It will be same ole same ole.

Well worth reading, bookmarking, savoring, pondering and then reading again.

This is every argument I have ever had with my liberal “friends” distilled down in to one column.

It started a little slow, but that’s OK. The foreground gave the needed depth to the later part of the column.

Five stars!

The Left are like Pavlovian dogs. The Left is collectivism. They are conditioned by the commands of collectivism. Sarah’s voice is like the stimulus of a bell that sends them into their conditioned behavior. That behavior is much like dogs raving and foaming at the mouth. They have no idea what she says; nor do they care. They have been conditioned by their socio cultural in-group to mindlessly salivate at the sound of the bell.

Hi dearest, b9,
I am so happy you appreciated this wonderful column. I think the writing is exceptional and it’s jammed packed with wisdom as you pointed out. I need to bookmark this column right now for safe keeping.

Thank you, onyx, for championing America's Champion. Your steadfast habit of bringing all things "Sarah" to the attention of FReeper Nation is an invaluable contribution to America's best chance at regaining our rightful place in the world, and in the hearts and minds of our citizens.

Thank you, Jim, for providing the platform and framework for the most involved and popular conservative discussion on the internet, and in the world. I hate to think where we'd all be without you. One thing we know for sure: We wouldn't be here on FreeRepublic. And that would truly suck.

May God bless both of you, and this great nation. And may we bless Him for His providence; then, now, and always.

Merry Christmas.

Gov. Palin does not “make” liberals nuts — they are already nuts.

That line will make the progressives sting for a while.

And her latest book provides proof. She “gets it” about America, better than ANY politician I’ve heard of, with the POSSIBLE exception of Ronald Reagan. Reagan talked many of the same ideas, but Palin has LIVED them to a far greater extent than Reagan.

Good will be called evil and evil called good.

What more do we need to know about why the Left attackes her?

As I talk to other conservatives/undecideds around the country, both on line and in person, I am approaching rage when I hear Oh she's very nice but not Presidential.

After hearing that I know I am in for 10 more minutes with this a--hole to try and explain why the Sarah Palin of the Katy Couric interview several years ago is not the same Palin.

Usually I do some good but not so sure about how many minds I am changing.

Only thing for sure is I will never quit trying.

Sarah Palin is tomorrow!! She is the Ronald Reagan we have been waiting for.

Its our job to get the message out however tasking it may be.

Brilliant post here. Thanks for summing it up. This post shows just how powerful the DBM still can be when they go all out to destroy someone.

The left hates normal, decent, clean-cut people with traditional values.
