The second pic is of the same contrail, taken within minutes of the first pic. The difference is that it was taken from a position further north, by a webcam at LAX, so we see it more from the side rather than head-on.
How does it look like like anything other than a typical jet contrail from a jet flying inland from the west?

You can put up whatever pic’s you want and believe they are what you want to believe. I know what the original video shows. All else can be manipulated for whatever reasons. That video is not a plane..and you have lost some commonsense somewheres!
I have seen plenty of Jets take off from LAX and none of them leave a plume contrail like this!

Are you aware that the video itself was edited in order to manipulate? It was cut and spliced together to create as strong an impression of a missile launch as possible. The cameraman himself admitted that they ran it in order to boost ratings for sweeps week, which was that week.
The pictures taken by Warren and the LAX webcam provide additional information and let us get a more complete understanding of what happened. Taken all together, it's clear that what we are looking at is a contrail and not a missile launch.
And when they do, they can look like this:
Rick didn’t take 57 images. Did you ever take the opportunity to contact Rick and ask questions? I did. Find his contact details on Flickr and ask him the questions you are posing on this thread? You like doing research so why not research Ricks motive for taking those images? Have you ever visited and viewed his photostream?
Maybe people are just bored with constantly repeating themselves when all it takes is a bit of concentration on the various threads discussing the subject. I’ve been away for a bit and have now caught up with all the threads and subsequent posts discussing this subject. It isn’t that hard!

I can see that it is annoying for you that Jane’s Rockets and Missiles quickly dropped the ‘missile’ theory. Proof that even experts in the field can be fooled by edited footage.
