The RINOs are circling the wagons.
I did not appreciate the extent of what an obstacle they are to freedom until this most recent election.

Well, I do think that leaving the governorship before her term was up will be used against Palin in both the GOP primaries and in any general election matchup.
Now, I understand why Palin did it, and she’s still my first choice for 2012. But it probably is an issue she’s going to have to address rather early on with some voters, I think.

Has Whitman ever said anything that is even remotely critical of Obama or Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid?
To: bjorn14
Whitman co-founded the Republican Leadership Council, which works to get centrist Republicans elected. Her daugher, Kate Whitman, is the group’s executive director. In November 2007, Kate Whitman announced she would seek the Republican nomination for New Jersey’s 7th district Congressional seat.

"Every congressman and senator right now thinks they can be president," Whitman said on CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS". Yeah, and every high-tech billionaire thinks they can buy a governorship.
Better put some ice on that, Meg.

Former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman during his tenure as head the Environmental Protection Agency stood at a podium in front of hundreds of people and outright lied to the American people about the air quality reporting procedures at Ground Zero.
She is the lowest of low.

Is this the same Christie Todd Whitman who
RESIGNED as governor and took a job in D.C. because she knew she couldn't be re-elected?
The same Christie Todd Whitman who authored a book entitled, "It's My Party, Too", which she thought would be a guaranteed bestseller by scheduling its release on the day after John Kerry was elected President???
That one?

You've got to start competing for the center.
This attitude of needing to pander to moderates is what has this country falling into disrepair. It seems the country needs to hit rock bottom before the majority of Americans understand why this country is in serious decline. If that's the case, let's put up the most conservative candidate we can and see what happens. If we win, all the better. If we lose, the country still needs to experience more strife until it is understood that the path the RINO's and the left have "chosen" for us is the path to ruin.

" ... she'd have to show me a lot more than I've seen thus far as far as an understanding of the depth and the complexity of the issues that we face," Whitman said. "I mean, I don't know her personally. So I can't comment on that." So Whitman thinks that she, unlike the rest of us unwashed masses, has to know the politician personally to determine if he/she understands the depth and, etc., etc.
Palin is a gift to the Republican party, plopped right in their laps.
