Should be in “breaking news” as far as I’m concerned. There is little that’s more important right now.
Call, people, call! We should have the congressional switchboard in as big of a meltdown as we did during the last amnesty debate.
Boehner needs to man up, quit his crying, quit talking about how brilliant Obama is, quit praising Ted Kennedy as his great friend, quit compromising when he has the winning hand, and start doing that for which the American people gave the Republicans a clear mandate.
The disconnect between the Washington royalty and mainstream Americans is unbelievable.
We have the entire country in an economic meltdown, we just had an election where the Americans said FOAD to the big-government liberal types... and the first damn bill to come out of DC is a backroom deal filled with the very same business-as-usual crap that is killing America.
Here is just one of my missives that I fired across the bows of several ships today...
“I find it very interesting that there is no listing for “Governmental Reform” on your topic list.... because honestly, that is what November was ALL about.
It is our expectation that you will do everything in your power to encourage all members to hold off on any and all votes until we seat the new members in January!! The legislation that has been passed since the election, and the bills that are still awaiting passage are EXACTLY the kind of action that Americans voted AGAINST, and on earmarks, hear us loud and clear - They Must Stop!!
I think it is clear that you all need to understand something.
The citizens of this great nation want governmental growth and the intrusion upon our GOD given freedoms stopped. Everything that has gone through since the election, along with S510 and the ENTIRE healthcare horror MUST be repealed! And Washington must reform the way it goes about it’s day to day business, because the way it has been done in NO way serves the American public. Washington clearly only serves itself, and that MUST stop. We are here to serve YOU.
We will NOT go back to blissful ignorance. We ARE paying attention; that was the message, and we meant it.
