Some refreshing frankness from Chuck Todd today. Commenting on the MSM hoopla about Bill Clinton's recent White House press room solo, NBC's political director and chief White House correspondent acknowledged that there are "a lot of Clinton Kool-Aid drinkers" in the media.
Chris Matthews, who had played a couple Clinton clips and gushed over his brilliance, protested that Todd was getting "so hard."

Chuck Todd has been labeled so extensively as one of Obama’s star gazers that he must believe it may help his case to label othes as kool-aid drinkers for Clinton.
Chuch huffs and puffs at Robert Gibbs and to Obama in press conferences, but on his show and as a guest elsewhere he is so in the tank, as you might expect. After all he works for MSNBC.
Ummm - I have to be careful how I say this. In light of Mr. Matthews previous comments about President 0bama, can someone interpret this comment for me? "Hard" how?

I guess next to Narcissist 2, Obama, Narcissist 1, Clinton comes off as brilliant.But objectively it is difficult to listen to Clinton because he is a dull bore and Friday’s presser confirmed that point. He could have said in 20 words what he said in 5000.Seems every Clinton groupie in the media surfaced after that presser to declare his brilliance.

That was my take, too .. but I’ll take any fissures on the D side, especially the MSM. They take each other so very seriously, while the rest of us laugh or yawn.
All they are arguing about is what flavor of Kool-Aid is the best.
