O’Donnell was an embarrassment. He was right.

He wasn't right to trash her and not say a solitary negative thing about the Dem candidate. He essentially shoved O'Donnell down the stairs and then congratulated himself for predicting she would fall down the stairs.

Barry salivates at the thought of running against Palin in ‘12.

Sarah Palin has never made a policy speech or outlined a proposal ever on the national level.

Not sure what is considered to be a "Policy Speech" by you, but by my standards, this one was a great policy speech.

As usual, the sociopath-enabling Krauthammer
is unable to describe what is in front of his eyes.

“Facebook is for teenagers to swap you tube links and dirty jokes, not a platform for a serious candidate to hold the most powerful position on earth! Geez!”

Every potential presidential candidate (Palin, Romney, the Huckster, T-Paw, etc.) has a Facebook page. The difference is Palin uses hers to effectively circumvent MSM.

We're in the 21st century; what century are you living in, Little Pharma?

Yea, that makes sense!<\SARCASM>

The Left Wing have spent two+ solid years trying to tear Sarah Palin down, and Barry salivates of running against Palin in 12'.

Are you really that stupid?

Why would she run when she gets the money and glory with none of the stress of making actual decisions about the country?

She will continue to hint at running because it keeps her name in the spotlight. The minute she says for sure she isn’t going to run in 2012, her 15 minutes are over.

I think the Dems want Romney. There is little separation between Mitt and Obie on the major issues of the day. Plus Mitt was a big time Wall Street player. Big target. The MSM will destroy him in less than a month.

He always looks like he’s smelling something bad. Methinks he is one embittered man. Joe Klein (a creep, admittedly) hinted at this about a year ago and got hammered for it. But maybe he was on to something.

I don’t believe she is shallow enough to play that fame game for no other reason than money and fame. I think she loves this country.

Krauthammer, being an Ivy League retard, should know better than suggest a potential leader get bogged down in policy debate. Or maybe he knows this, and is encouraging Palin to sabotage her own prospects.

I served under some the world's finest leaders in the US Navy, and I also observed the differences that set apart great leaders from others who were superb as Division Officers, but would have become less effective as Captains of a ship.

My teenagers compete in Team Policy Debate and Lincoln/Douglas style Values Debate with a homeschool organization. I've only been able to see a few of these debates, but they sure do like to talk about the processes.

Prospective legislators would benefit from Team Policy Debate, and it seems more suited to the legislative/collaborative process.

Leaders need to be able to establish a vision for the future, a general direction based on principles, morals, and values, that will inspire others to follow their lead and help shape policy objectives toward that vision and along the guidelines of those principles.

This difference is what makes Senators and Congress-critters (generally) poor prospects for leadership, but allows their policy work (if it matches the prospective leader's vision) be instrumental to a leadership team.

This is also why Ivy League and other MBAs have been disasterous as corporate leaders, and collectively are responsible for the current sad state of our economy and markets. As "business administrators", they are policy wonks, not leaders, focused on the quarter-end figures, with absolutely zero vision for the future, and seemingly oblivious to the secondary effects of their short-term stupidity. This is also why Romney is the worst possible choice of the current wannabee leaders.

Every other potential candidate has a Facebook page as well as having presented policy. Palin has not done the serious grown-up work. If you think that she will be elected to the presidency with clever tweets and reality shows, I fear you are in for disappointment.

This country is not going for an inexperienced choice whose strength is a good speech and whooping up a crowd. Not again.

"He would almost always give the one world order, big government, anti American exceptionalism viewpoit, while Sarah would embrace both American exceptionalism as well as American Nationalism. kraut needs to quit playing a conservative for pay... he is just not very good at it."

American Nationalism --- that's why the talking heads, the leftist media, the fossilized Republican Establishment and the statist/internationalist/world government promoters hate Sarah Palin. She puts the American People and their interests FIRST! She puts the country first. The Establishment traitors to the Republic hate the fact that the public is no longer asleep and Palin is leading the struggle against them.

If she runs, she'll put out policy ideas. Fyi, no one else has either. No one. You can present who you are, and where your beliefs come from, dictating what your general policies will be, but that's all a smart candidate will do until they actually announce they are in the race.

Your earlier pronouncement that she has never outlined a policy is simply untrue. She, like everyone else, has no policy position papers, but she has discussed energy in depth, discussed economic policy in depth, and shown enough in her critiques of Bambi's policies (foreign and domestic), that someone who is supposed to be paying attention (you) should know she is fully capable of outlining good, conservative policies.

If she decides to run, she will need to convince those who aren't paying attention of her abilities to govern and form policy. That's what campaigns are for. If she runs and explains herself well, she will very likely win.

Look, I don't have a Facebook page and likely never will. And yes, from what I've heard most people use it for gossip, entertainment, pretending they're 15 again, etc.

But the fact is that all candidates for serious public office use FB these days to reach the largest # of people possible. And if used properly I suspect it can be highly effective.
