Man struck in front of Justice Center jailed

ELIZABETHTOWN — John B. Elliott is lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center after causing a traffic collision near the Hardin County Justice Center.
Elliott was hit by an SUV on Monday afternoon after fleeing from the Justice Center after learning there was a bench warrant issued for him. The warrant was issued when Elliott failed to attend a pre-trial conference Friday related to charges of alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and menacing.
Chased by a sheriff’s deputy, Elliott ran into traffic on Dixie Avenue and was struck by a Suburban.
Elliott had a court date Tuesday in Circuit Court relating to a civil matter.

It is kind of funny actually with headlines such as SUV Kills Pedestrian or SUV Strikes Building as though the vehicles have a life of their own. Of course it is all about demonizing a type of vehicle that the left hates.
