The Topeka Police Department responded to a home invasion and shooting at 514 SW Tyler that left one man dead. They say the man that was shot was the suspect in the case.

Topeka (WIBW) - Topeka Police said a man shot during a home invasion in central Topeka Monday night has died. It's the second time in two weeks that an intruder was shot and killed during a break in.

It happened just before 7 pm at 514 SW Tyler. Topeka Police say they were called to a possible burglary at one of the apartments and discovered the suspect with a gunshot wound. Residents say a man broke in and demanded money.

Officials say that man was Reuel Bridges, 28, of Topeka.

The resident says he got his gun. Bridges tried to fight him, so he fired his weapon and called police.

Bridges was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The number of home break-ins should see a decline.

Now if this outcome were repeated a few hundred times nationwide people might be safe in their homes again.(I figure it will take a few hundred thugs dying to get the message to the rest.)

So, the question is,
what is the threshold number of dead thugs

at which others make a “different career choice”?

DON'T READ THE REST OF THIS POST UNLESS YOU WANT THE DETAILS.

Perp was a young black man, supposedly drunk, shooter was an old white man who had been robbed before. Victim gave up his wallet, retreated to his bedroom, when he couldn't retreat any more, he took action.

The world is a little cleaner,

With one less parasitic scum,

Much, much lower than a bum,

Now in Hell,

Running to the sound of Hitler’s bell.

....And another pineapple is sent down below.

http://www.wibw.com/home/headlines/New_Details_In_Fatal_Topeka_Home_Invasion.html

I was the victim of a home invasion years ago. I was coming home and took a shortcut through a neighbor’s yard. I was going to go through my back door and caught a guy who looked eerily like the Topeka home invader (different city, different decade, not the same person). The fact that I wasn’t killed was the result of HIM not being armed. Neither was I.

Good point. They tend to vote even earlier and more often after they take their last breath.

They’re like roaches: they don’t learn, they are inherently vermin, and they keep breeding.

Best you can do is exterminate them whenever they pop up. And clean up areas where they hide and breed.

I am really sorry to have to tell you this, but just because you are dead does not mean you can’t vote Democrat.

At some point, though, some girl is going to start thinking twice about her choices to bring a kid into the world without a good father, just to have that kid shot while breaking into somebody’s house.

We have to make it less desirable to have kids out of wedlock.

Right now, they get “free sh!t” for doing it.

The number of home break-ins should see a decline.

I wonder, though, how many "home break-ins" are accomplished successfully and never given the huge coverage. I would guess, ballpark, that less than 5% of the crooks end up as they should, on a slab.

The rest probably either kill the home-owner, which may not even be reported, or just escape to do it again.

Currently it’s gone way beyond “supporting a bad decision” to ENCOURAGING bad decisions.
Another thing libs deny - that people respond to incentives.
They really think that there would still be just as many out of wedlock births without the “safety net”.
