My straight son’s best friend is gay, my husband’s brother is gay. I don’t support any acquisition of rights based on group affiliation and I am completely against gay marriage. The issue for me is that the current policy does not exclude gays from military service and why should someone who is gay be kicked out of the military just for being gay if they have served with honor? It doesn’t make any sense to me. And it makes less sense to me that we should hate someone just because we don’t like eho they are.

you assume your son is straight.

homosexuals have always been a weak link in all military organizations.

wikileaks is proof of this since a homosexual supplied the recent military docs.

Abu grab was a cell of fetishists lead by a military commander who was “in the closet”.

homosexuals have no place in the military.

"I don’t support any acquisition of rights based on group affiliation and I am completely against gay marriage."

Base housing, off-base renters who refuse to rent to active duty faggots will be forced to, benefits for the active duty faggot's partner of anal penetration or plastic phallic devices, adoption laws of active duty faggots, medical bills, HIV positive types are not deployed which hurts readiness, and many more "rights based on group affiliation" are already being debated. I take it you are not in favor of this but you sure as hell indirectly support this, hypocrite. Your false sense of righteous morality will be met with reality in the form of faggotry run amok. As a tax payer that will subsidize the "partners", thank you for your support at creating this mess.

just for being gay if they have served with honor?

So exactly how long has it been since you were in a communal shower with someone of the same sex eyeing you and your equipment as a potential sex partner? Easy to say when it's someone else's humiliation.

When you're a civilian you can be a lot more flexible about where you go and when you go.

In the military you go where they send you and HAVE to use the facilities that are provided. There's no two ways about it.

How long has it been since you were in the military exactly?

As long as they shut up about their preference, I’m good with that. This is a radical political group seeking to leverage their honorable service into support for their agenda.

That’s all DADT was about. Serve and stay discreet about your problem. They don’t get kicked out for being homosexual. They get kicked out for being public about it—getting caught in barracks doing what they do, showing up in uniform at a gay pride parade, stuff like that.

Because heterosexuals shouldn't have to shower, undress or live in the same quarters with someone that may have an unwanted sexual attraction to them.

We don't force women to do all that with men in the military. Why should be forcing heterosexuals to do that with homosexuals?
