The issue for me is that the current policy does not exclude gays from military service and why should someone who is gay be kicked out of the military just for being gay if they have served with honor? It doesn’t make any sense to me. And it makes less sense to me that we should hate someone just because we don’t like eho they are.

We don't force women to do all that with men in the military. Why should be forcing heterosexuals to do that with homosexuals?
