It will be interesting to see the overwhelming groundswell of young, gay Americans who will soon be able to storm recruiting offices from Greenwich Village to the Castro district and serve their country in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Look at it this way: DADT was bad politics for the GOP. Now that this is off the table, the Republicans can focus on other issues that will isolate Obama and the Democrats.
In effect, the GOP has called the Democrats’ bluff. Frankly, now that they can, I don’t think the activist, openly gay community will show very much interest at all in actually serving in the active duty military. Those gay individuals that actually do have the calling of patriotism will probably continue to choose to do so in a discrete manner. At any rate, anyone who is willing to serve honorably in our Armed Forces should be welcomed and thanked for their service and sacrifice. I am confident that US military leadership, and the solid character and values - the basic goodness - of our military will ultimately prevail.
trouble is that there are a couple of posters registered back in 1998 who have been advocating the homosexual agenda or they write a post and then disappear only to reappear on another thread says later.
They never answer a question when you ask them if they support the agenda.
Some trolls have been lurking for years and only recently have some been zotted but there are some left.

The repeal of DADT *is* a major part of the homosexual agenda, and none of that agenda is good. Forcing our society and military to accept homosexuality as "normal" would be a huge win for homosexuals and their agenda, and it would have an extremely negative impact on our society, our military and our ability to defend this country. Imho, one cannot have it both ways.

the more pressing issue is that don’t ask will be repealed and I have spoken with a pal today over in Kabul who said he and others will leave the Marines plus my sons will now not join so that is 7 of them now who will not be Marines by the end of next year.
We have to fight this and win this for the sake of our country but also we have to tell and send a clear message to the cowards on talk radio , TV show hosts like Hannity and the GOP that they had better now be talking and fighting the homosexual agenda.
Hannity and others never talked about this bill at all and actually hardly if ever talk about the agenda

Thank you! I’m a reservist and hate the fact that fags can openly server with me. Why not just make the military coed? Will the women hate having all the men checking them out in the showers? Well that’s how I feel about the fags checking me out.

When I hear from Kristinn, one of us will start a separate thread for this effort announcing the ping list and keyword(s).
And to all, I’m just offering help. I’m not attempting to manage or control such an effort. That should be done by old-timers. I realize I’m still a snot-nosed, wet-behind-the-ears newbie.
